Need this!

It's been ten years and I've been following this for four... come on Proton. I don't like being locked out of integration of my calendar with my self-hosted services.

Its really essential.
Niagara Launcher is half as good without caldav.

Missing standard integration makes this a vendor lock dead-end.

It is VERY annoying they don't provide these essencial features, because of "boo hoo security"

It is impossible to operate without this support. I recently switched to a Light Phone for improved privacy relative to the iPhone and android phones, and without caldav I can't track my calendar. In the near future they plan to implement carddav too. Seems I won't get past the free account. I was planing on using the family account. it was a no brainer, until this!

Would like to use with Light Phone via Caldav. Please implement it. thank you

I think CalDav is essential for cross platform integration. Please consider adopting this utility for use with Calendar.

I want to switch from Mailfence, but this is stopping me. If you've ever used Business Calendar for Android, you'll understand why no other Android calendar is satisfactory, including the Proton Calendar app.

I use proton calendar for my personnal use mostly through the android app. And I would like to use the android app to manage as well a second calendar for professional purposes that is hosted on a nextcloud server.

Currently I can only share a calendar as webcal (.ics), but I want to connect an external application to one of my calendars with write access.

Therefore real caldav support would be really cool. The released calendar should get an own user with own pass like it is possible with SMTP.

my experience with proton as user and developer would be better if we can have caldav support for Gnome calendar and thunderbird

We developers, need this asap. It is an essential piece for integration.

is anything happening regarding this? i'd like to sync other calendars to my proton calendar (as a primary calendar app) but can't because proton doesn't support caldav.
that makes me rethink wchich calendar app will be my primary calendar app

Essential for anyone who wants to be able to use Proton Calendar for commercial work. The tool is not offering functionality for booking slots, so one has to go with tings like SimplyMeetme or Calendly and it's super inconvenient not to be able to integrate those tools.

I'm also very interested in Proton's CalDAV support. This could be useful for many users.

Yes please. It is a serious hindrance that I can't integrate Proton Calendar with my calendar clients. Perhaps there could be a security solution via the existing Bridge app?
