  1. Email snooze and schedule send

Having the ability to snooze and schedule emails would be really great! Thanks for your consideration, these are the only two features I miss from Gmail.

  2. Attach files from Proton Drive

Include files from Drive as attachments on messages. Maybe also (but that would be just a plus) with option to attach them inline (for pictures)

  3. improved search

Search is pretty terrible. It doesn't let me do a good job of saying what folder I want to search in. For instance, I very rarely want to search in Trash (it's in Trash for a reason). I'd just like to be able to specify the folders to search in, seems like a pretty basic feature!

  5. Stealth protocol for ProtonVPN Linux app

    Dear ProtonVPN developers,

Some protocols are either blocked or don't work in certain countries. Please add Stealth protocol to your Linux GUI and CLI apps to circumvent the limitations.

  6. Greater file size capacity for sending emails

I can only send 3-5 photos maximum per email; for somebody who wants to share photos via email, this is completely unfeasible. A much larger attachment capacity seems greatly needed.

  7. multiple ProtonMail addresses to be view separately - split address mode

Separate email addresses are for separate things so it would be helpful to just click an email address from the menu and see only those emails sent to that specific ProtonMail address.
    Multiple inboxes.

  8. Allow custom domain name with catchall to also send email with any username

Now my custom domain has a catch-all for incoming mail, I would like that also to work for outgoing mail. So that I can 'Customise From Address' to allow any username in custom domain and I don't have to set up each username individually. Replies will just come back to catch-all.

  9. Delete addresses without deleting email

Allow to delete addresses without having to delete email.

I suspect the issue might be due to encryption, if so, can you not decrypt the deleted addresses' emails and then encrypt them with a different key say, the main email address.

  10. Support de l'internationalisation des adresses e-mails / Support for internationalization of email addresses

    -- FR --

    — RFC 6530, ”Overview and Framework for Internationalized Email” décrit le cadre général. Si on ne lit qu’un seul RFC de la série, c’est celui-là.
    — RFC 6531, ”SMTP extension for internationalized email address”, qui indique les modifications…

  11. Encrypted Names through Handshake (HNS)

Similar to how Bitcoin is uncensorable money, Handshake names are uncensorable words.

Handshake (HNS) is a decentralized naming protocol that aims to be the base of the web, and is the only protocol out there that's attempting to decentralize the DNS root zone. HNS names can be used for websites, email, usernames, and single-click login.

I want to let you know that the decentralized .ProtonMail top level domain is reserved for ProtonMail to claim on Handshake. See here: https://hnsnetwork.com/names/protonmail

There are several ideas that can be looked into. All ProtonMail users can get a .protonmail name that mirrors their existing…

  12. Make composer better or equal to competition

I like Proton Mail, but what makes it inferior to other competitor e-mail is its Composer. It is simply an effective "text message" editor.

It appears that all efforts are made to improve Proton Mail "technical" feature, but little effort is made to improve its useability at least at the same level of Outlook, Gmail etc.

  13. Allow adding a calendar invite to Proton Calendar when the email isn't in the participants list

I often use email aliases when communicating with unknown contacts or agencies. When they send me a meeting invitation, the alias would be in the invitation list, but not my Proton email address. Adding these invitations to my calendar is usually a hassle. Proton does not add them automatically and usually a message would appear with no further options: "Your email address is not in the participants list.".

Proton should be able to allow a one click option to add these invitations to my proton calendar even when my proton email address isn't in the invitation's participant list.

  17. Create calendar event from email or other platforms - like when you purchase a flight ticket

Would be nice to be able to create an event from an email or website like you do with google.
An example is when I purchase a flight ticket and the receipt arrive in gmail, from there I have the option to add the "flight" automatically to google calendar.

  19. simplelogin (mail alias)

Ive noticed a thing or two.
    When using simplelogin mail alias.
you send over public key unless you disable it.
Would it be possible for Simplelogin to auto disable public key so you truly send mail with alias without handing out pgp keys with actual mail in it?
Or rename the public keys or generate a "simplelogin" pgp key?
OR simple remove pgp public keys when sending via alias?
