Please show the size of each e-mail in the inbox
For each message in the e-mail list, there used to be an indication of the size the message takes up; now I've noticed there isn't anything like that now, and I haven't found a setting that enables this.
I would like to see this feature back, because I used it when deciding which e-mails to delete and which ones to keep.

Don't startup with green notification circle
I have my protonmail pinned to my browser. Every time I open my browser, that tab has a little green circle, even though there is nothing of import there. It would be better to detect if there is really anything I need to do since I last opened my email.

unsubscribe from maillists with SimpleLogin aliases instead of main ProtonMail address
With SimpleLogin we now get aliases at our disposal to hide our real address.
There are cases where a user may want to keep the alias active but stopped to be bothered by maillists. Then, by clicking on the unsubscribe button the email to be sent is always sent from the main email address and not from the SimpleLogin alias. It would be good to have such an option so that we can keep the main ProtonMail email address hidden.1 vote -
Option to switch off conversation view
In the WWW Proton Mail I can't switch off "conversation view". I want to see the list of individual messages without any grouping when I need that.

allow the message reply window to be moved and resized
On a Windows PC, on the web, when replying to an email the reply window is too large and covers up the initial message. When I'm replying I like to be able to view what the other person has wrote and reply accordingly. I can't do that as it is. The reply windows in Proton mail covers the original message and I can't resize the reply window either.

The proton editor can be improved
I love Proton, but its editor kinda sucks. Why can't the editing window be separated from the navigator (firefox) and enlarged? Is it related to encryption issues?
Further, I cannot select the whole text of a message to copy paste it. If I use ctrl-A it will select more than 50 messages, which is not the intention.

Select multiple emails and send emails to the specific folder.
- Please add ability to select all or multiple emails through the "ctrl" and "shift" buttons. It makes useless to use proton mails if you have many emails to work with...
- Please add rules function. You have possibility to create different folders so please add possibility to send emails from particular sender (a bank like example) to the created folder and not to inbox.

It is not easy to find the email subject line. Especially when mails are grouped by conversation.

Show Count of Email Search Results
There should be a count of matched items from a search. Currently I am using a work around using "select all" after a search which will show the count of selected search results.

Ability to open message in new browser tab or window
The ability to 'pop-out' a message from the mailbox and open in a new browser window or browser tab will improve usability and allow the user to review multiple message simultaneously. This is a feature that exists in outlook today and is very useful from a productivity standpoint.

Edit more than 3 emails at a time
I'm currently limited to editing a maximum of three emails at once. I've often bumped into this limit and would ask that it be lifted, or at least bumped up to 5. Yes, an email could be "closed" and I could then look it up in draft, but my use case is more like I'm actively editing 3 emails, a new unrelated email comes in I want to respond to, I CAN'T because I can edit a max of 3 emails, I have to close one of those emails, reply to the new email, then find the email I close…

Allow disabling LESS/MORE button on main folder list
Please allow users to disable the sectioning of main folders. My primary view is "All Mail" and I see no reason to always click twice to get there, nor do I need extra space being stolen by the "LESS" button after it is unrolled. Alternatively, let users decide by themselves which 4 folders they care about to be in MORE, and which in LESS.

UX: Tooltip for the email date
On the ProtonMail WebApp, when you are reading an email, when you hover on the receiver name (your name) the email is shown. On the right, the date on which the email is received is shown. However, in order to see the exact time, you have to click on the small arrow below the date to show details. Would be very small feature, but a nice one to show the exact time on hover on the date, same as the email is shown when you hover on the name.

Provide content filtering option
At the moment, we can only filter email based on subject, recipient, sender and attachment.
Another option to add is the body. Such option help in creating further filter based on certain words within the content especially with group conversation emails.

Compact side folders in webapp
The folders in the sidebar are spaced out by quite a considerable margin. An option to reduce the padding between the folders would be a welcome addition for desktop users who do not have touch-screen devices.

autoreply
I want to be able to create an autoreply for my work email address, but not my personal one. Currently any autoreply that I set up will apply to every email address that I use.
