Show date/time in folder views
In webmail, please make the option to display "date/time" in folder views (short format here favored.) Seeing just the time for the current day isn't the worst but beyond that it's a 'yesterday/no time,' then 'day name/no time,' and whatevers beyond that. This isn't user intuitive and is cumbersome taking time to figure out what one's looking at. Thanks

Auto hide desktop menu
For the desktop mail app.
I am on linux, there is a menu at the top of the desktop with: "File Edit View Window.
I think there is an option in electron to hide that: https://www.electronjs.org/docs/latest/api/browser-window.
Slack for example has an option under "Window -> Always Show Menu Bar"
Something like discord doesn't seem to ever show the menu bar.

Configure silent times on iOS
Can you please add a feature to the IOS ProtonMail app to configure silent times? On Android I used to be able to mute notifications during certain times and days. Thanks!

In threaded messages make all images viewable
Instead of just being able to scroll left/right and view only 10 images in a threaded message, make all of them viewable. I get multiple emails daily with images from my home security system and can only view 10 images at a time, making all of them viewable would be awesome!

Close to system track/dock
The red "close window" button with the default Mail.app closes the window but leaves Mail.app running. Clicking the Mail.app icon again, opens the window again. With the Proton app, clicking the red "close window" title bar button closes the window permanently leaving the Proton app in a useless state. The main window can't be opened again with any of the "show windows" menu items - the app has to be completely exited and restarted to get the main window back.

Using physical security keys
You sent me an email this morning about passkeys. Well, what about physical security keys? I bought two of them last week from Amazon. I got them to work with iCloud. I'd like them to work with Proton Mail, too.

Customizable interface
It would be nice to be able to create new email categories (e.g., in the Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Spam, etc.) while being able to delete ones that I don't use.
Also, since I label my folders, I need to be able to extend the area (move the divider line between the List/Label side and the Inbox/Compose section). I don't have enough room to read my labels or see if emails are sitting in those labeled categories. Most email providers allow the user to slide and adjust the sizes of the interface boxes and areas.
Thank you.

Add Archive button to navigation bar on Android
The notifications in Android provide both "Trash" and "Archive" buttons, which is great; however, when I have an individual Protonmail message open in the app, there is only a delete (trash can) button. To archive, I have to click through multiple buttons: Move to>Archive>Done. This is cumbersome and unnecessary; there is room to add an archive button next to the trash can icon in the navigation bar.

Customize line spacing
The line spacing often gets out of control. This causes me to switch to Plain Text just to fix it up, then back to Formatted before sending. Which is a bit silly.

2FA via secondary email
Enabling the option to use email addresses as a second factor of authentication:
Functionality: ProtonMail could implement a feature that allows users to register an additional email address as a second factor of authentication. This email address could be different from the primary one associated with the account.
Configuration: In the security settings, users could add a secondary email address. This address would only be used as a second factor on new or unrecognized devices.
Email Verification: When a user logs in from a new device, ProtonMail could send a verification code to the secondary email address. The user would…

Retain check marks in boxes until cancelled or task is completed
When checking boxes to initiate a task for several posts at one time, if the next check mark misses the next box, all the previous check marks disappear. Can all the check marks be retained until either I decide to cancel the task, or I complete it?
If, out of an abundance of caution you think it may not be appropriate, for everyone, to make this a permanently 'ON' feature, than could it be added to settings to turn on or off this ability?
Here's a different approach used my Yahoo mail: If you miss a box by placing the…

Single tap/swipe to switch accounts on mobile
For those with more than one account on mobile mail app (work/personal), it currently takes multiple clicks and navigation to switch accounts.
Would be great if there was a letter or some symbol that you could simply swipe up or down to switch accounts. One swipe, done.

Use custom favicon for outgoing email
I would like the option of adding my own custom Favicon to my sent mail, to appear in the remote recipient's in-basket.
Perhaps an option selectable in "Compose Email"?1 vote
