catch-all support for custom domains
With the addition of custom domain support, I really would love the option to have a catch-all email address, as I've been using that feature a LOT on my current/previous hoster.
I vastly prefer that over the account+alias@protonmail.com feature, as using that would require me to change all the places where I used all those other email addresses.
You can now set a catch-all address on custom domains. Thank you for the suggestion!

There were three features missing from ProtonMail that stopped me from transferring my domain email. Two Factor authentication has now been implemented and the single password mode will make use of the ProtonMail service easier.
But, until 'catch-all' addresses are implemented, I cannot move my domain email.

This is the only reason I haven't been able to switch to ProtonMail.

An absolute necessity to provide this ! As someone switching from google apps and used to giving out custom address to various senders, I need to keep receiving mail rather than limit myself to just the one main account.

Not having this feature is definitely a deal breaker for me. Once it's added I'd definitely switch over.

I am waiting for this feature to be available, otherwise will never migrate.

This is a very important feature in my honest opinion.
Since it's often a necessity to give out emails to many different sites, shops, etc. it is hard to determine if our information is being sold to others. If I give my email to "Super Shop" and they sell my information to a third party, how can I tell that they've done this?
With a catch-all account, I can generate specific email addresses for each service/shop that I sign up with. I can give "Super Shop" an email like PjDbY5@domain.com, and if "Super Shop" gives that email to a third party, I can find out that happened with this custom email address.
Additionally, it makes things much easier to filter if using email addresses like homedepot@domain.com, amazon@domain.com, etc. We can then create filters that operate on the _destination_ address rather than the sender address so as to be able to truly filter all emails from Amazon, etc.

I know Startmail has this option currently, but I've already moved my domains to Protonmail. Would definitely love to have this feature!

I have many email addresses setup (one for each company I do business with). Typically they take the form of "bulk-company-name@mydomain.com" however I only send email from a few addresses on my domain. It would be awesome to have a catch all, but even nicer if email forwarders were allowed. Then I could have one forwarder for each bulk- email address and would be able to avoid the spam that is sent to non-existent addresses.

I't would be nice to add the catchall feature for paid account's custom domains. Aliases with '+' are not acceptable on some sites.

Many sites do not support +'s in email addresses, so this is somewhat of a necessity.
I would *love* this feature.

Is someone working on this?

I agree 100%.... the catch-all feature is the final missing piece preventing me from migrating fully from Google Apps.

I purchased a protonmail pro account to support this service, and will continue to do so even without this feature. That being said, the last feature that I feel Protonmail is missing is a catch-all address. Please support this, then I can move my original domain with all the various pre-created accounts to protonmail!
Thanks!

+3 votes aswell. I switched from running my own mailserver to protonmail and basicaly having a catch-all is the only feature I miss to any significant degree.

A workaround I use is keep your original MX record and then add a catch-all on your domain which forwards to your protonmail account. You will still need to set up the SPF & DKIM if you want to use your domain to send email from.

Would love this very much! The only thing that ProtonMail doesn't have.
It is unfortunate because I use this feature very much with my previous provider (fastmail). This changeover will likely have me lose a lot of mail.

Would someone from ProtonMail please let us know if this feature is in the works? I'm trying to decide if I will wait around until this feature is added, or look at an alternative.
