Real Html signature
I can't use directly html code for my signature (font size etc) and it should be useful.

Especially see my today proposition: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail/suggestions/49410002-use-svg-icons-in-signatures
In fact, it is possible to build a very nice signature, with table, and link to images. But images need to be hosted on the web.

I would really like to use an HTML signature on the app. I have it set up in desktop and that works fine, but the app removes my photo and changes the text formatting.

Please add this feature!!

This would be a nice feature to add but I do also like the clean text based signatures so it's not at the top of my list.

I love ProtonMail and I use it for my small business. Right now it is so frustating to try to make a nice looking signature. A real html fonction would really facilitate that work and I will get much happier.

Is there any update about this critical missing feature?
Think about a business signature with no HTML: a WYSIWYG is clearly not an HTML signature. I'd like, for example, to be able to specify light/dark mode signatures (text colour, image etc).

also the possibility to add several signatures and choose them when writing a new message

Ditto everything everyone else has said. It's an important part of branding. The composer ought to have an HTML mode as well.

It looks like this still hasn't been implemented. I went to add a custom signature in html code that was created for me by the business that did our logo, branding, etc. and the formatting is all messed up - strange spacing all over the place, the entire signature takes up a huge amount of room in a new email. I tried in Gmail as a test and it works fine. This is really too bad as I want to be able to use proton in a professional context and not being able to have a custom designed signature is a serious drawback.

Can we please implement it?
It is a crucial feature in an email client.
It's not a big one to implement, and it adds incredible value as it's a benchmark feature.PS: yes @Nathan Veenstra, the following blog news is clearly misleading: https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-beta-v2-0-release-notes/)

Formatting is inconsistent when using the site and using the app. The app allows one to use HTML and there is where I discovered why things are all over the place. I replaced my signature with a signature block formatted using HTML. Why not have a similar feature for the "desktop" version? A simple HTML view to see and our emails (especially our signature blocks) in HTML would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's almost one year since the last comment; considering the slow pace of development, I think it will take more time to schedule it.
However, it is still an essential feature which is still not fully implemented. -

Please improve the functionality of your signature feature. I want to tighten it up, color code it and use my chosen font. When I cut and pasted my signature from WORD docx, it pasted distorted, changed and double spaced.

Co sign!
I thought it was available (https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-beta-v2-0-release-notes/), but apparently it's not.

I concur. I'd love to see raw HTML editing for the e-mail signature.

Agreed! I rely on my signature as a key element of my online identity. Thunderbird's signature featureprovides a good balance of utilityand polish.

Have a source code editor in addition to the one already present, like the wordpress one for example. With the possibility to add button link, complex html design, etc
