Distribution List
This allows you to send email to a group of recipients.

Without DL's it's going to be impossible for organizations to seriously consider this over Exchange or other mail platforms. I'm on my first full day testing and immediately noticed this glaring deficiency.

I've been a ProtonMail customer since July 2017 with the Visionary plan. Love the products (both ProtonMail and ProtonVPN). However, the ability to create a distribution list (grouping of email addresses as stated in the original idea) is essential longer-term (to leave Exchange behind)! In fact, distribution lists are key for both internal use as well as selectively visible for external use. For use case examples, internally 'qateam@xyz.com' or 'kids@xyz.com' and externally for incoming mail such as 'sales@xyz.com' or 'parents@xyz.com' (you get the idea). In my situation, not all DLs should be externally available. I hope this is something on your RADAR for near-term implementation. Thanks for listening, and again, thanks for a great product.

Totaly agree: distribution list is a key feature. I have tried to communicate with a small team of 12 individuals using protonmail but I am afraid this is not practical at all. Takes more time to chose all the addresses from contacts than compiling the mail. And it is error prone.

This is a pretty basic feature one of a few missing features (including IMAP support) that prevent me form making Protonmail my primary email service provider.

Very surprised that this basic email feature does not exist in Protonmail!

Tried to fill in form for this idea but what I am requesting is the ability to group emails addresses into different distribution lists to make it easier to send out group emails.
