Resize Inline Images
Gmail allows inline images uploaded to be resized, so they are not so huge and graphically fit with the body-text of a message. I'd love to be able to resize and design proportions of email imagery, as it tends to be a significant part of my communications.

Without an image resizing feature Proton mail is inferior to most mail services. Looks like people have been asking Proton to address this for years. What's up?

I think the inline image attachments feature should be disabled until this is fixed. There should at least be a warning/information about a lack of functionality.

Please add this feature as soon as possible.
A crucial one that makes us save plenty of time and prevent us from keep using drive links to share a few images.

This is long overdue and the lack of a photo resizing feature is a smirch on Proton's reputation.

Why is this not being prioritized in any way? It seems like adding basic WYSIWYG capabilities to your service, to make it more enticing for users, would be something you would want to devote some time to.

Copying an image directly into the body of an email is a pretty common workflow in this day and age. There is no need to attach an image when posting it inline is just a much nicer alternative. The issue is, on Proton there is no ability to resize the images. With Gmail you get 3 options for sizing. What's even worse is just how massive the default inline images are. They take up way too much space and to be honest it just looks really bad from a design perspective. It also makes emails difficult to read from a UX perspective.
I noticed this was requested back in 2016. But it doesn't appear to have been addressed at all. Please consider this change because I like most aspects of Proton. But this alone makes it unusable for my workflow.

I have been considering making the switch from Gmail to Proton. I have an account and generally like it, but this is a killer. People have been asking for this for 6 years. Cmon Proton. If you want to take some of Google's market share, being on top of adding nice QoL features like this is how you win people over. You want people to be ecstatic about your product and spread it by word of mouth right? This is how you achieve that. By adding features like this. This is rather basic functionality. Anyone who wants to use Proton for a business will need to use this feature at some point.
Plus the images are MASSIVE. It is completely unusable in it's current state. Inline images are the future, attachments should be reserved for PDF's and the like. There is no need to attach images and have them hidden behind another click.
The fact that you have over 200 employees and not one has addressed this is rather disappointing. What is the point of having a place for people to provide feedback if you don't even acknowledge it? It gives the impression that you don't really care and in a tech sector where there are 101 other choices that provide essentially all of the same functionality (in this case, more functionality) than you do, why should people pick Proton?

How have people been asking for this for years and it's still not done? :(
This is a super-basic feature. -

PLEASE add this - I paid for a year of protonmail for my small business, but this feature alone might be the straw that forces me back to google.
I send a lot of how-tos to my clients and if I have to create a separate attachment every time instead of inline in the email for screen snippets, it's a deal breaker.

Without this ability it is nearly useless to include inline pictures. At least we can still attach them, but it is a major drawback.

Why is this still not a thing since 2017?
It's already hard to leave Google, this kind of missing features are not helping at all! -

While i like the simplicity of my ProtonMail account, I am so disappointed to not be able to resize inline images in my emails.
This is a standard feature on 99% of all email providers and helps keep emails looking professional.
If I had known that this was not available, I would likely have not signed up for a paid account. If this feature is not introduced soon, I will be cancelling my account.
PLEASE make this a feature ASAP!!
Thank you.

This is a important feature, in my opinion. As a software consultant, I send quite a lot screenshot snippets around. It is very annoying to resize all the snippets outside of the email client.
