I have all the names of the subfolders cut. But how is it possible that there is no such basic possibility?

When in column layout, make the column widths adjustable. I need the navigation sidebar wider since I like to use folders and subfolders to organize eMails. If the names of the folders are too long, they cut off and its hard to read/remenber the folders.

I just switched from Outlook to Proton Mail.
I need an option to add user-selected additional columns (+ sort, filter by them +adjust their size).

That would make my life easier.

This is critical for me because not being able to expand the size of the left sidebar makes my folder names that begin with the date unreadable, but the dates are essential to the data I'm storing in these folders.

The ability to sort the folders in the sidebar is really essential too, right now I have to go to settings and manually organize them by date. A sort-by option and ability to click and drag to reorganize folders would be very helpful.

And in column view, when adjusting the far right edge of the right email content column, please lock the center column edge in place (i.e. the right side of the inbox column) so it doesn't dynamically adjust when I widen the far right column. I'm constantly fighting that center edge back in place when I'm creating more space for the right email content column. Thanks.

address column is too narrow to show long addresses unambiguously. Proton mail might be unusable for me without this

Could the column that has new message, in box etc. etc be flexible so that it could be made narrower thereby increasing the message reading area?
And could the composer be maximised more so that the whole email can be typed?

I agree. The scrollbar on the right of the list of emails is too thin and hard to click.

I have the same problem. Sides of email are cut off, I have to scroll side to side read. :-/

I agree. I'm just getting familiar with my new account and I've been trying to do this too. It's much better for me to have this flexibility.

Also - a slide bar along the bottom of the email pane in the inbox please (horizontal so we can move the view in the email left and right) At the moment we can only move the view up and down with the up / down slide bar on the right.

Both of these inprovements would help to get a more comfortable view especially as I enlarge the type size for easier and more relaxed reading when I'm reading my emails.

Absolutely. Surprised this isn't standard. And the horizontal scroll bar is hard to find on long messages.

Modern UI's seem to want to hide the scrollbar controls by making them as skinny as possible. Please give users the option to specify the width of the scrollbar control elements so that users can widen them to allow easier selection and control of scrolling controls.

I count 21 more votes in the other items below that are really for this same thing...do you people read? This sucks.

The 'folder' column takes up way too much space.
Provide a way to reduce the size by moving the right border of the box .. to the left ... simple way is to right click on the border, hold down while sliding it to where you want it.
