Sync contacts, calendars, and notes with native mobile apps
To sync with your cell phone and email - iphone calendar, contacts, and notes.
ProtonMail offers encrypted contacts for both web and mobile applications (https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-contacts-manager/). Calendar and note functionality will be released in the future.

Love the app, love the security first mindset. However, we are in 2020 and no calendar and no real contacts is ridic. I love contact information being encrypted and showing us what is not encrypted (and why) but by no real contacts I mean there is no way to group them (unless you have an email address for ALL contacts and basically want to make an email distribution group). This is 2020. SMS, etc. Why can't we at least have simple labels for contacts (same as we do fro emails) so I can filter my view of contacts? The import process leaves a lot to be desired as well.

Being able to sync Protonmail web and app contacts is a given. Would also like to sync with phone contacts. Can't even import as phone won't recognise the vcard export format.

I am missing the feature to group contacts so I can separate family, friends, co-workers, previous co-workers etc. It is also a nice feature to be able to add photo so the face shows up when calling and messaging the contact.

Your contacts feature is missing the search feature. It could be easily transformed in an exportable Phone book & Calendar/Agenda. Cloud is a security risk and using an Android Calendar/Agenda is like offering your stuff to the World for free. Also someone (like me) needs a Calendar/Agenda/Phone Book to be available off-line when people is out of reach or the data line is too expensive (through a satellite connection on high-seas or in the wild). I may download a phone-book for Windows but then I couldn't synchronize it automatically with my Proton mail contacts and have to Input everything through .vcf files or by keyboard, which is "antique stuff".

I also have a gmail account for an association of which I am the secretary.
I want to duplicate my protonmail contacts on this gmail account.
I haven’t found the right solution.
Can you help me?
Best regards and happy new year !

I just tried your new calendar. One very important setting is missing: The possibility to schedule an event for a number of weeks, instead of just every week or every month. I get my meds delivered every "4" weeks, on Friday, not every month on the same date. This option is missing from your calendar.
Thanks. -

Do you know when will be available the calendar?

Looking forward to the calendar. Currently using a kiosk type display that uses an embedded Google calendar but would love to move to a private system and still have the embedded capability.

An application layout and features like OneNote which is in stored in an open format (like choosing an already widely used format rather than making a new one is feasible) and exportable. The Application can be off-line (locally encrypted) and online, and synced to ProtonMail as the user updates the local copy on his Computer/Phone. This will add good value to having a ProtonMail account, I believe; along with a Password Manager application (again encrypted, exportable and in open format) similar to 1Password.

Enable contacts ordered by last name as just about every mail server offers. Merging contacts does not allow editing, thus contacts are full of duplicated info...

Along with Calendar and Notes - A Task Manager or To-Do list would be amazing as well. I have used many of them, and they all end up missing the mark - GMail's worked well and Microsoft did as well, but they were integrated with the mail system I was using at the time. I'd fold this into Calendars and Notes project because then if you get a "Drive" component as well - You'd have a full Suite!

When I want to import contacts on Android mobile, I only see contacts which have an email address.
It wold be great and make much more sense, if I could import *all* contacts!
I do have a PLUS subscription so can edit phone numbers, etc. -
