Support for Spark Email Client
It would be great to get support for Spark. If you're unfamiliar with Spark by Readdle, you can check it out here: https://sparkmailapp.com/
I have 10+ email accounts that I manage with Spark. It supports every single type of mail service there is, but because of ProtonMail's security and encryption, they are currently not compatible. Gmail, Exchange, iCloud, everything but ProtonMail. Would really like to get that working.

Spark is a great tool. It would be great if we could get Proton Mail to bridge within Spark for email in and out.

That is why I am not using Proton Mail. As a solopreneur, I need to have an email client like Spark as I am usually given Gmail and MSFT 365 addresses from my clients, but as a solopreneur, I can use anything I want and would rather have something secure. For example, I use the DayOne journal app to keep confidential information as it is end-to-end encrypted.

Sorry, but this is an awful suggestion IMO. As far as I know, Spark is not an e-mail client. Instead, they download all your e-mails and store them on their servers. Giving Spark and their technical provider Google full access to your mailbox pretty much destroys all safety and privacy advantages you have from owning a ProtonMail account.

I tried to connect some of my Proton Mail accounts in Spark using the data provided by Bridge ; it worked fine on the computer (MacOS 10.15.7) but not on the iPhone or iPad (iOS 16.1.2). Readdle were unable to provide support (although they very patiently tried for quite some time !).
I would love to be able to use one single email client, and Spark woulf definitely be my choice ! -

This issue is now open for 4 years, are there any updates from the team of Protonmail? Thank you

I just tried this yesterday with the ProtonBridge and I quickly got a message that Spark did not support the mail server that is started by the bridge software. This still does not work and is not supported. It does not appear to be any information anywhere about the roadmap for this or if it is even on the roadmap.

HOW?!?! Got any instructions? Specifically, what to do about the mail server.

Guess what?! I JUST ADDED PROTONMAIL TO SPARK!!!!!!!!

I think the main issue here is the lack of support from Spark of e2e encryption. The groundwork needs to be done by Spark devs rather than the ProtonMail team.

maybe the security with spark is the problem?

I won't move our two companies here until this is resolved. Just responding would be polite guys.

More than a year has passed from the Proton Mail Team reply... any news? I am a Spark user too, and am waiting for compatibility before I migrate to Proton mail.

Same here. Had to try Canary for now but would switch right away back to Spark if Protonmail's Bridge would support Spark (or spark Bridge...)

That is why I do not use protonmail.

I agree with my previous speakers. It would be really great if the ProtonMail Bridge gets support for the Spark email client.

Sadly, I agree too!
Spark team, where are you? Why are you don't saying anything about it? -

With no comment from the Protonmail team on this I am now in the process of moving my email elsewhere. I have paid for a year Protonmal Professional but I been increasingly frustrated with the absence of features that I get with all my other emails in Spark. I will accept the loss as a poor business investment and move on.
