POP3
I eschew Webmail wherever i can, strongly preferring local-pc client-based email / PIM functionality [currently Thunderbird, with POP3]. It remains greatly inconvenient to me that you still do not have POP3 support. No, i do not care at all about your mobile apps... useless to me... i want it on my pc with POP3. I would stop using ProtonMail altogether [due to this problem] if it wasn't for the fact that you have such excellent security criteria... but i persist with the Webmail-only access under sufferance. PLEASE give POP3 support.

Why not use IMAP instead? It has numerous advantages over POP mail, and it will let you do what you're asking for. See http://www.pop2imap.com

I can't commit fully to protonmail if it doesn't have the ability to monitor my old e-mail addresses for new mail.

Add functionality to download e-mails from remote addresses over POP3. This is what I use to monitor my old e-mail address in my gmail account. I can't fully commit to protonmail without this function.

With multiple email providers to Thunderbird only POP3 allows all email to arrive in the same Inbox and delete to the same Trash (Local Folders).
There is no security problem with POP3 and ProtonMail bridge because it only talks locally (127.0.0.1) -

If this got implemented, an additional useful feature to this would be that Protonmail can also send email via that pop email alias.

I'm using BlackBerry and I need to integrate my e-mail with the BlackBerry Hub.
The incompatibility of your service with most of the e-mail clients is a deal breaker. I will come back only if you make this functionality available.

POP3 please, because we can all use PGP and our own encryption program that way! Biggest reason not to sign up is no POP3 forced to use web
