spell checker for writing emails.
A spell checker has been available on almost all email accounts for the past 2 decades, but not on yours. Come on, get in tune with the 21st century and for all those who don't have brains enough to spell correctly in the first place.

...a spellchecker is critical for modern email composers. -

Critical - he wrote almost 5 years ago and still no spell check?? I guess it's back to Thunderbird. Proton = Cadillac exterior, Lada engine.

Grammerly eh?? If I give you my email address, are you going to spam me?? Defeats the purpose of protonmail. Come on, What's the tl:dr???

Yes Proton Mail! Get with the program, please. My spelling is pretty good, but not perfect. Help me out here.

Anonymous? Sad. That aside I continue to support the addition of a spellcheck feature to PM.

Why do I need to sign in to vote when I'm already signed in to my PM account? Spell check essential

Spell checker should be part of email function, in several languages if possible

Currently there are a large number of recommendations, all around spell checking. If combined it would yield a MUCH larger interest.

Ludicrous: a word for which I do not need spell-check but applies to the notion that a "paid for email service" would not have spell-check when the most rudimentary free services do. Grammarly, a non-integrated, inconvenient, external service, as an alternative even more ludicrous.

As I wrote before, if you need spell-check in your email, that means you need spell-check also in all other places.
For that, you can use any of https://grammarly.com products.
Eg, desktop app, browser extension, or keyboard app on a mobile phone.

I really miss this option from Gmail and still use Gmail to write emails in different languages and then copy and paste into protonmail but obviously this is not ideal. Icelandic and Danish please!
