spell checker for writing emails.
A spell checker has been available on almost all email accounts for the past 2 decades, but not on yours. Come on, get in tune with the 21st century and for all those who don't have brains enough to spell correctly in the first place.

Thing is the browser spell checker is not all that good and sometimes misses words.

Thinking of changing e-mail because there is no spell check feature.

Add a feature to signal spelling errors to users who struggle with spelling

Spell check isn't actually a feature of the email protocol. However, my Firefox web browser does automatically check spelling in each textbox that I type into, so perhaps your browser will do the same for you?

If you don't want to embed a spell check in your menu, could you suggest a way to integrate Chrome extension splell--just tried with their Spell Checker for chrome and got no where, + need to copy and paste the text into into separate writing box.

Hello, pleased to finally begin again with a secure email. But....no spell check? Is this is a security risk? Is this going to happen sometime soon? I don't think I can use ProtonMail for business in this case....

Protomail!
Why don't you have spelling check????!!! -

A spell checker would be a great addition! Isn't this a no-brainer?

"Here here!"
I would at least like to know why there isn't one. So 'Protonmail', just help us to make sense of this please?
That said, love and appreciation for the rest :)

Hi,
Is Protonmail going to allow Grammarly functionality in their web client? The previous request here was over two years ago. -

I often use multiple languages in a single email, or want to write an entire email in another language without auto-correct or spellcheck to constantly freak out, so allow a set of languages for a user, with spell-check etc. covering. As a Swiss Co. you should understand how English, German, Italian and French could easily end up combined somehow. Let users pick, say 3 or 4 languages. I believe Google has this already!

I can't believe PM charges a monthly fee for an email service without spell check or undo...totally unacceptable for business use.

Well I gave this one vote... but wait! Athough it would be nice to have spell check in the editor (+1) .. most browsers are able to use spell check automatically

in quantum it is about>pref>general> tick check spelling as you typeFor some reason that wasn't working for me though. I had to use an add on. Which is odd because the spell check built in works fine on my laptop but not on my desktop.
Hopefully the add on is not needed and I can delete it because I am concerned about a third party add on and security (i.e. key logging). However, if anyone has an issue and firefox spell check as you type box is ticked. See article above. Then here is the article I read and the add on
