Apply custom filters in Spam.
Custom Filters don't work when the email is already in spam folder.
Example: Set a filter to move all emails from test@test.com into the trash but since it has already been moved to the Spam folder, I'd have to whitelist it first in order to apply filters to it. This is counterproductive and generally Custom Filters should work across all folders, no matter what.

Please make this a priority. It's ridiculous that filters aren't applied to emails marked as Spam.

With my own domain I use different email addresses for different services. When one of them is compromised I want to filter all emails going to that account into the trash, but they end up in spam. The problem is that proton's spam filter puts legitimate emails into spam sometimes so I have to check it occasionally, but it's flooded with emails going to the compromised account that should be in the trash instead, making the task of scanning for legitimate messages more difficult than it needs to be.

I have a mailing list which always ends up in spam. Adding each sender to my whitelist as they send their first message to the mailing list is a pain. Could we set up filters which whitelist messages (keep them out of spam) based on subject prefix or custom header?

The spam folder fills rapidly which is fine as it's doing its job, but it makes it very hard to spot the occasional false positive.
A simple remedy would be to apply filters on the email subject, and sending many messages automatically to trash, instead of having to manually wade through them. There are many such requests in the forum. A pity there are no dev responses.
