Support multiple accounts on iOS
Either allow multiple accounts to be open simultaneously in the iOS app or add option to switch between accounts without having to formally log out and log in between each swap.
Despite allowing multiple aliases for a single account, if you have a personal account but also shared an account (eg with a spouse) aliases don’t suffice. The idea of forwarding every email from one account to another is archaic, lose for user and lose for proton mail because you’ll be storing the same message twice unnecessarily.
Multiple account support is a basic feature for email apps.
Thank you for your feedback! The iOS Proton Mail app supports multiple accounts.

MAC OSX app doesn't have the ability to switch accounts easily. User has to log off one account and then log back into another. It would be great if one can easily switch between accounts without the unnecessary additional steps.

I just downloaded the desktop app for iOS and I was also shocked that you can't switch accounts like on mobile and web. Proton, why not add this feature??

I downloaded the Proton Mail desktop for iOS but only one account can log in at a time. I have two paid accounts and like the option to switch between those accounts like in browser.

This doesn't work for multiple free email accounts. Other services like Tutanota do this.

I'd add two features which are present in web app but not available in ios:
* mail threading: i've replied to an email and don't see my answer in the email thread
* i cant unwrap email address, i can only see addressee name -

Is this in the pipeline? if so ETA and if not why? I have multiple Protonmail accounts for different businesses, projects and personal use and can only get them all with Protonbridge. in iOS on my iPad pro i have to use the browser versions, very inconvenient. thank you

As Proton is reimagining their design language and mobile apps, I think the new iOS app should be built in SwiftUI. I've listened to some of WWDC21's UI videos, and though I am not development expert it seems quite easy to build quality apps that fit in with iOS' design language, yet still represent the brand.
Also, the new ProtonMail design system docs say to "avoid reinventing the wheel for Front-End." I think making a custom UI would be "reinventing the wheel," and make it hard to scale and update consistently across iPadOS and iOS.

Improve style to suit accepted usability norms for contrast, current colour theme has no differentiation of elements, it is all one colour - or tones thereof

Will implementation of this feature mean that PM addresses can be added as mail accounts on iOS without needing the Bridge? I realize the PM app can be set as the default iOS mail app, but apps like PayPal don't seem to care about that, they just look at the list in Settings / Mail / Accounts...

In this moment in iOS mobile app we can add only one free email address. I need add two - my parents emails(I have my own plus plan account). I need to monitor very important messages from National Health Service - related to Covid-19 vaccination - they are older people and this matter can be processed only via email. I think this change is not so big and could be usefull for more users.

Robert, the beta iOS app has now support for multiple accounts. It is more like alpha than beta because it crashes a lot. But it is better than nothing.

I have two accounts and no way to switch easily between them. Instead, I must have two instances open

This is finally out now on the beta version of the app. I think it is only for paying users. I’m a paying user and I’m using the beta version through “TestFlight”.

@Ark, I agree on that.

Does the company even respond to these posts? It's been about two years, just the smallest inclination that paying users questions are being heard would help.

Need this feature on iPhone app, similar to Blackberry Hub - seamlessly switch between accounts with one tap (and maybe pin or faceid, but nothing more)
