vim key bindings
I would like for the vim key bindings to work again. They used to, and now they don't. For clarity: h,j,k,l as the arrow keys - scroll through emails and open emails with these keys.

I was going to ask for a "gmail" keybinding mode, but really what I want is vim keybindings :)

Not having this is a real barrier to being able to clean up my inbox. It's gotten to the point that the interface has slowed because it's harder to get sorted.

I also think it would be great if Proton Calendar had Vim bindings like Google Calendar does. Primarily j/k to go to next/previous week/month/day, m to select month time range, w for week time range, d for day time range, and / to search.

I don't understand why this feature would have been removed? It's non-negotiable for me

I miss these as well. Overall, keyboard shortcuts are more cumbersome now. When you return to the inbox, the next message highlighted isn't near the one you just read. Instead it goes back to the top of the inbox every time.

Miss the VIM bindings so much. I messaged support about the functionality when it was removed from the Beta (specifically using j/k to on the main email page) and got an unsatisfactory answer. I've actually moved to an external email client because it's so ingrained in how I go through email.

Definitely missing this feature from the older versions of Proton.

Yes, I agree, this is crucial. Having to move with arrow keys defeats the purpose of having shortcuts. Below some shortcuts I find important as well:
x: select email
o: open email -

I miss being able to use the 'k' and 'j' keys to move up and down in the main inbox list. They were perfect (in the old, non-beta version) for keyboard shortcuts because your fingers were already right there. The up and down arrows aren't nearly as handy.

This is useful for those of us using vim, or used to hjkl as directional in other applications (e.g., Gmail). It works in classic ProtonMail, but it does not work in ProtonMail Beta. This is in the message list, used when selecting multiple messages or using keyboard shortcuts to archive or trash old mail.

It would be great if we could have an option to use vi key bindings when composing emails. Even some of the simpler bindings (like 'dw', 'dd' etc) would be fantastic.
