Hide My Email Address (Private Relay service)
I pay for a ProtonMail email address. I want to be selective about who I give it to. Let us hide our real email addresses.
Let us create randomly generated email addresses that forward to our real email address.
Abine Blur lets your do this (8 random characters followed by @opayq.com). Mozilla Firefox lets you do this (9 random characters followed by @relay.firefox.com). Sign in with Apple does this (10 random characters followed by @privaterelay.appleid.com).
Even Outlook lets you register 10 aliases for free each year.
Proton should do it too. Either 10 or 12 random characters followed by @relay.protonmail.com.
Maybe free accounts can have 5 of these relay addresses each year. Paid Plus users can get 10 each year. And Pro users can get 20 or something.
For example, I've been subscribed to Proton for 3 years so I should get 30 aliases.
I should be able to specify which email addresses can send emails to that address and it should go in a separate mailbox. For example, I should be able to create a random relay address for Amazon, and specify that only emails from @amazon.com can go to it. I can choose to allow emails from other domains but highlight them or choose to have them rejected by the server. And emails sent to that relay address should show in a folder called Amazon.
Frankly, I would like Proton to offer the same service as Abine Blur: create secure passwords, mask email addresses with a relay service, and mask credit card numbers. Either offer the same service or if possible buy them? I currently pay them $99/year for their service and I would happily pay that to Proton for the same service.
Thank you.
PS: Can you guys try getting Proton.com? I'd love to have an @proton.com address. Also, have you thought about offering @promail.com as an alternative email address. It's shorter than @protonmail.com and feels more professional than @pm.me. (I'd like to use it for business.)
Also, on this website, I can sign in with Facebook and Google. Why not Sign in with Apple? And why can't I pay for my subscription with Apple Pay? Those are privacy focused services.

Hugely important to keep email uncluttered.
