I would love to be able to see my folders with new emails ,inside the main inbox instead of having to click on a sandwich button (mobile) just to see if there’s new emails in my folders. Most of my folders don’t have / need notifications for them but it would still be useful to see if there’s new emails in them. I would see those folders icon sort of as a silent notification for email. The folder wouldn’t need to show any content (maybe just a counter of new email) and clicking on it would simply take you to the folder. This could be added has a folder option so it’s not a forced behaviour for people who wouldn’t want that feature.
