Double-Click to Open Email in New Window
Hi There Team,
I have been using Microsoft Office 365, and one feature that I find particularly convenient is the ability to open an email in a new window simply by double-clicking on it. This functionality allows for a seamless and efficient email management experience. Now, as I transition to using ProtonMail webmail, I am curious to know if a similar feature can be implemented.
I want to emphasise that I enjoy using ProtonMail and, at this time, I do not wish to integrate my ProtonMail account with Microsoft Office 365. Instead, I am specifically interested in exploring the possibility of having a feature in ProtonMail webmail that allows me to open emails in a new window with a double click, akin to what is available in Microsoft Office 365. This feature is important to me because it allows for easy customisation of the preview window for each newly received email. Currently, without this feature, I find it inconvenient to adjust the preview window for each email individually.
In order to enhance my overall user experience and streamline my email management process within ProtonMail, I am keen on exploring the possibility of integrating this functionality. If there are any technical constraints or additional information needed to consider this request, please let me know. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to any insights or solutions you can provide.
Cheers

It would be great if there were a button or a right-click option in the browser to open an email in a separate tab so you can view multiple emails simultaneously. This would also allow you to open emails to view later while going through your list, not to have to constantly start over in a duplicate proton mail tab.

Some mails are wider than the space you have with the column-view on a 13-inch laptop. Yes, you can change the view in settings, but if you don't want to change the view in general, a double click to open an email in a separate window is a most common use case, isn't it?
I gave you 3 points.
