Local storage for desktop app
Having the ability to also store messages locally in folders using a standard file format would be helpful. As a current Mozilla Thunderbird user, I store messages both on the Proton servers and locally for archive purposes. Being able to create folders in either locations with simple transferring between them would bring me much closer to no longer needing Thunderbird.

Being able to move items from a server location to an offline file folder will free up memory on mobile devices.

Other methods are cumbersome and time consuming. An elegant solution would be a "Download Folder" option.
