Remember Selected Emails After viewing an email
Expected behaviour
select emails, view an email, return to inbox, selected emails still selected
Current behaviour
select emails, view an email, return to inbox, no emails are selected

Big +1 for me. This is super annoying when im marking several emails for deletion and accidentally misclick one of them opening it (it happens a lot for some reason in Proton Mail, but it almost never happened to me in Gmail). Nevertheless, Gmail already has this feature since long time ago!

Keeps happening to me and it's frustrating! There is another post called "Maintain checkbox selection, even when clicking into an email" for the same issue

When i select more mails to delete on inbox and i click on some mail to view if i need to delete it or not, when i return to my inbox all the mails i had selected are unselect now and i need to select it again.
I think the selection must be mantain on time when i enter on some mail and return to my inbox.
