Add POP3 to MOVE email from other accounts (empty them)
When I signed up for a paid plan with Proton, I expected to be able to empty other accounts, especially Gmail.
At the moment, the import from Gmail is IMAP, and that is understandable as you want to import calendar and contacts.
The mail import will bring in labels, but you do not bring in filters. In addition, you do not have the Google filter that goes on in the background and put less important emails in separate tabs called updates, social media, marketing etc.
But the worst thing is that all the email remains with Gmail. I woud like to clean it all out of there. And for that, I believe we need POP3.
I do not know if the IMAP import remains in sync with Gmail?
One possibility would be to do a second import where the POP3 import gets matched with the IMAP import, and if the email exists, it is deleted from Gmail, but kept in Proton Mail.
From private mailaccounts, it should be easier. Just connect with POP3 and transfer all.
A last resort would be to allow us to use Thunderbird to connect to the private mail server and Proton Mail and then just drag from one folder to the other.
I am absolutely open to suggestions here. The point is to leave no trace behind.

Yes, please. And have Proton check those external email accounts (via Google, or any other email provider) on a configurable schedule, please.
