Account switching on desktop
You can now switch between your Proton accounts from the Proton Mail desktop app, and stay logged in to all of them.
Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux: https://proton.me/mail/download

The Desktop app should work like the mobile one, allowing users to switch quickly between accounts.
Moreover, the Desktop app should notify users when new emails and unread ones are in the inbox. -

I do not see that I am able to switch between different email address inboxes. Perhaps that is a different functionality. I am able to do it in Spark Mail through Mail Bridge but not in Proton's Mail app on MacOS.

Yay! Very glad at this improvement. Now my only desire is to be able to login to multiple Proton Drive accounts (i.e., personal and business)

Too bad the now "completed solution" has nothing to do with the initial request: multiple accounts in the Calender mobile app...

The URL address used to always follow a decipherable format:
https://***.proton.me/u/#/
where *** is mail/drive/pass, and # is the user number. My personal account used to always be 0, my family one 1 and business one 2.
However, this is inconsistent and now I'm onto # = 27 on some computers.A simple bridging fix would be to allow users to tag each account with a name (e.g. personal) or username or email or domain, and just select the account when typing in the address bar. Bookmarks do not work as the numbering assigned for each account on different laptops are inconsistent.

Same as in Proton Mail Web app, it would be nice to be able to switch between two Proton account in the Mail Destop app

Seems like a big oversight to have this supported on the web versions and mobile but not on the actual desktop app. Really annoying day to day to not have this.

Require the option to have ProtonMail accounts on the Mac App, as in the iOS App, with the option to manage ProtonMail inboxes in the app. PM needs to be the only App I use for email on my Mac. Similar to how Apple Mail has support for multiple email accounts and providers.

I would like to be able to send from both my personal email and a separate account I share with my partner. This is one of the few negatives from my Proton experience

Important to keep accounts separated; not only for work/private but also for organizing private mail (there is a reason to have multiple accounts so then you want replies in separate boxes/views as well).
For me enough reason to use the old mail client.

Please add multiple accounts to the Mac Desktop app.
It's fundamental, especially for work. -

Enable seamless switching between multiple signed-in user accounts to mirror the efficient implementation of the iOS app.
Enable the capability to allow multiple user accounts to be signed in simultaneously. Users should be able to switch between these accounts quickly. This feature should mirror the functionality present in the iOS app for a consistent user experience across platforms.

It's quite annoying to have to go back to the online navigator where it is possible to do this, and to not have this possibility in the protonMail app which is supposed to make our lives easier. I hope this gets fixed!

Desperately wanting support for multiple ProtonMail accounts on the Mac App, as well as the option to manage/sync non ProtonMail inboxes inside the app so that PM becomes the ONLY app I need for email on my Mac (similar to how Apple Mail has support for multiple providers. OR, (some clever way of achieving the same result by enabling a simple forward all emails feature from GMail/Other to my ProtonMail account, and set up automatic sorting into folders inside the UI to achieve the same result).
It would also be ideal to not only be able to toggle between accounts, but the option to view all accounts inboxes in the same view as you are able to do in Apple Mail.

I am a business customer and the lack of this feature is killing us. The mobile version allows it. Please fix this.

As many other Proton users, I own several accounts. The possibility to switch between email accounts in the desktop app is an expected feature. Even better is to see them in the same view. Take inspiration on how the Mimestream app (mimestream.com) do several GMail accounts.
