Turn off "set as default" in email
I get a big "set as default" banner at the top of Proton mail any time I open it. I can dismiss it but it comes back with the next restart of the application.
I am not ready to make Proton my default yet and it would be nice to be able to dismiss this permanently, or even have it pop up once a month or something.
This is in Windows 10.
Thanks!

Every time I open Proton Mail app (MacOS) displays at banner at the top asking if I want to set as default mail app. This is annoying. If I select NO once, can it not keep asking?

To turn off the banner, go to Settings -> Messages and composing -> Uncheck the "Check your default mail application"

Also, I'm getting the prompt after setting proton mail as the default email app on windows, which is even more annoying. On Windows 11 24H2.

I get the same on latest macOS, I do use Proton a lot but it'd be really nice if it stopped pestering me with making it the default.
