ProtonMail

  1. Protonmail is great, why not making a Proton Web Browser?

I'm sure our security on line would increase a 100% with a Proton Browser to get rid of safari, opera, firefox, etc. If you make one we'll be total and complete.

  4. Important Privacy Improvement: disable Google FLOC

You should set the Permissions-Policy HTTP header to “interest-

  5. Subscribe to ICS feeds

I use a number of other services that provide ICS feeds for calendar events (Remember the Milk, Basecamp, etc.). It would be really handy to be able to add those URLs as calendars to my calendar so that I can view all upcoming events and tasks in one place.

  6. A Dedicated Desktop App

Instead of using the bridge which might prove to be a little bit of a hassle for new users, a ProtonMail Desktop App would be more convenient for users and allow ProtonMail to have more room for expansion through the use of the desktop app. ProtonMail Desktop App would be very convenient for checking your mail on the internet without the need for opening a new tab in your browser and maybe could run in your system tray to allow for notifications and alerts for when you receive emails/chats.

  8. Add a service like Microsoft Onenote for save notes

Please add a service like Microsoft Onenote so that notes are safe too.
In combination with ProtonDrive it would be great.
Please develop a iOS-App, Android-App and a Windows-App so that there are the same possibilites like in Microsoft Onenote.
Pencil-Support for Tablets is also very important.

  9. Automatically import .ics events attached to Proton Mail to Proton Calendar

As described in the title, it would be great to automatically import an event attached to a mail (.ics) to Proton Calendar without having to download and manually import it.
Moreover, I would like to automatically answer to the invite.

  10. Snooze Feature

For those of us who strive to maintain "Inbox Zero" status, a snooze feature is vital. Any chance this can be added to the queue?

  11. Additional Custom Domains Should Be Standard Not Add-Ons

ProtonMail is an amazing platform and I'm really wanting to transfer my email from Gmail. One aspect that really hurts Proton is the $$$ needed for each additional custom domain. Users of GSuite can add dozens of additional custom domains to send/receive from without increasing their costs. I have 4 domains that I mainly send from, but can't stomach adding an extra $48/year just to use domains I already own. Giving users at least 5 domains standard would make a huge difference.

  12. Tor connection via ProtonMail Bridge

While ProtonMail Bridge is connected, there is a lot of information included in the connection by necessity. If this connection were to set up a Tor connection to pass through to the onion version of ProtonMail by default, it would make it more difficult to censor or identify users who need heightened security. If it worked reliably, it could be a way to enhance overall security by both encrypting communication and also hiding the IP address.

  13. Delete mail in x days/weeks/months

It would be great to have an option allowing to program the deletion of a mail after a certain period of time.

For instance, I receive a confirmation mail for an appointment with a link to cancel it, I can say "delete this message in 6 weeks" (i.e. after said appointment).

This would help to keep our mailboxes clean. At least a single option like "delete this mail in 3 months" would do the job.

  14. Schedule Sends

One of my most favourite features of other email platforms I have used is scheduled sends. Having the ability to send an email at any time in the future is amazing. Can you please, pretty please add this feature to proton mail? With this feature I believe proton mail will be one of the best email platforms out there. Along with the new Proton Drive, Proton Mail is well on it's way to #1.

  15. Undo Button for text writing!

I am a fan of Protonmail, also because of the simple handling. But it lacks something very simple and actually indispensable for any mail program. I miss it every time I accidentally delete a word or a whole paragraph while writing an email: That you can undo it! (A simple reverse arrow). Why is that not there? Who feels the same way? Please implement it, thank you :)

  17. device integration for Proton Drive

Already i'm loving Proton Drive but want to be able to use it from my network folder on my laptop rather than log into a web portal. I also want to be able to access those files from my mobile.

Any plans to be able to sync from laptops?

  18. proton mail attachments integration with proton drive

Provide an easy drop down option in proton mail that lets me save the attachment in my mail message to one of my folders on my proton drive. Currently I have to download the attachment to my computer and unzip it and then upload it to proton drive.

it would be better If I could mouse over the attachment and instead of downloading it, save it directly to my proton drive folder of my choice. At a minimum, it could save it to my proton drive to an "incoming from mail" folder for me to move to the correct folder…

  19. Ways to share calendar access (or create joint calendars) between others

We are migrating from using google products but my husband and I both have accounts over there (and now have proton mail accounts). We SHARE calendars on google so that all my calendars are seen on his calendar and his on mine. I can edit his and he can edit mine. Right now it seems only a "link" feature is available which doesn't integrate into his calendar (and if I have multiple calendars, he would have to click multiple links).

  20. Log-In via Ledger or MetaMask or other Crypto Wallets?

Users of Bitcoin, Ethereum / DeFi and other cryptocurrencies routinely use secure wallets to link to sites we engage with to make investments, payments and other transactions. We 'Sign-in' with our Public Key via our secure wallet as we "Connect" to the site, which is persistent across the whole site. The site then sends a message back to our wallet which we Review and Sign, validating with our Private Key that we ARE the authorized user of this wallet address. When we approve or "Sign" a message, our Private Key proves our identity incontrovertibly and we are then able to…
