  1. YubiKey? Ever? No? Hello?

The dedicated Protonmail community deserves a real response from the crack team of Protonmail scientists and engineers. When are you implementing Yubikey or are is your tag line just bs?

  2. Adding XHV (The Haven Protocol) cryptocurrency as a payment method

The Haven Protocol is a 100% privacy-focused cryptocurrency.

Alongside it's private native token (XHV), the Haven Protocol have created the world's first private stablecoin, xUSD.

On 12th April, 4 more 'xAssets' will be released: xEUR, xCNY, xGOLD and xSILVER.

Switching from XHV to any of the listed xAssets is done within the unbroken privacy of your vault (wallet) and can be transacted between one another and elsewhere.

This will allow privacy-focused crypto users to subscribe to/renew their Protonmail subscriptions in a variety of 100% private currencies.

  3. Proton Calendar: Share events/invite people to events

I have started playing around with Proton Calendar in beta. It looks nice. I cannot see a way to share events to other people or invite them to an event (internally to other ProtonCal users or externally to people using other calendar services). Is this feature available? If not, is it in development?

    Thanks :)

  4. Allow users to NOT choose a default sending address.

This should be very easy. On the page https://mail.protonmail.com/account, near the bottom is a section titled "Address Priority." Whichever address is dragged to the top becomes the default sender address. Simply add an extra but invalid email "address" to the list, with a name something like "No Default." If the user drags "No Default" to the top of the list, then he will be required to manually choose which address to send from.

I feel like this is a very important feature for the actual physical security of some members who may be emailing messages, from politically repressive areas,…

  5. I have multiple ProtonMail addresses and would like to view them separately.

Separate email addresses are for separate things so it would be helpful to just click an email address from the menu and see only those emails sent to that specific ProtonMail address.

  6. ProtonMail Linux Bridge with headless server support

It would be very useful to be able to configure the Protonmail bridge through the terminal so that it can be integrated into other systems such as Nextcloud

  7. Proton Calendar - more detailed settings for Frequency

On Frequency in Proton Calendar item there is just every week/month/year. I have some typical situation, that I need action each 4 weeks (which isn't 1 month).

So it would be nice to add more settings for this Frequency something like:
    - each: number
    - day/week/month/year

  8. More contrast between new and read emails in Android app

New emails in the inbox are almost indistinguishable from read emails. I would like the color to be much darker so it's clear.

  9. Use hCaptcha or Geetest instead of ReCAPTCHA

The CAPTCHA on the verification page uses Google's captcha service, which is absolutely terrible for privacy reasons. Please consider some alternatives such as hCaptcha or Geetest. (In addition, with hCaptcha you get paid for every time a user completes a captcha, instead of that labour going towards trainging Google's AI).

  10. Create unique profiles

What I want is that in the profiles that you create you have a specific place for each profile you use. That would help me a lot because I need to login in some websites and pretend to be someone else and having a proxy for each specific profile would let me do that.
    Thank you

  11. Allow sending from alias addresses

Currently, you can only send from alias addresses by replying to an existing email to that alias. Being able to directly send from an alias would make this feature a lot more useful.

Being able to manually add alias address to Settings > Addresses/Users without it counting towards the total of allowed additional addresses would also be helpful.

  12. Folders are always collapsed

Normally I want all folders to be collars to save screen real estate. But if I change to settings and come back to the mail tab all folders are expanded. I would like to have the settings saved-

Thanks and have a nice time

  13. App development to support Linux based Mobile phones

A number of Linux based phones are under development, using PureOS or other Linux based Operating Systems. A Protonmail app written for these mobile phones would provide a privacy/security enhancement for them. The release of the Librem5 Linux based PureOS mobile phone is eminent.

Similarly, a Linux based mobile phone application for ProtonVPN would be a beneficial addition to these phones which have been developed to avoid the lack of privacy/security found in iOS and Google based Android operating systems.

  14. Add option to send auto-reply only to people saved in Contacts

Instead of sending an auto-reply to any and every email coming in, it would be nice to have the option to only send the reply to people that are saved in the Contacts.

  15. Enable Onion-Location

    New Release: Tor Browser 9.5:

Website publishers now can advertise their onion service to Tor users by adding an HTTP header. When visiting a website that has both an .onion address and Onion Location enabled via Tor Browser, users will be prompted about the onion service version of the site and will be asked to opt-in to upgrade to the onion service on their first use.

  16. I'm tired of having to click "Load" for known valid user emails and newsletters I'm subscribed to

I'm tired of having to click "Load" when viewing an email from known valid user emails and newsletters I'm subscribed to - Is there a way that I can select an option BY EMAIL ADDRESS to ALWAYS load web content for that email address?

Also, can you please move the "Unsubscribe" Button/Link to a location that is not so easy to accidentally click? Maybe way down at the bottom of the related Newsletter email, right after where most of them also have the option to unsubscribe.

    Thanks for listening,

    AgentOfChange

  18. Variable delay for undo sending of an email

https://twitter.com/ProtonMail/status/1339568131388354562?s=20 you mention this. Given that the feature already exists, it makes sense to be able to calibrate the delay amount (in s) depending on an individual's preference. Thank you.

  19. Protonmail Filters Do Not Apply to Existing Emails (reactive, not retroactive)

I am creating a new issue here because the original existing issue which is > 4 years old has not been addressed.

    The original issue:
    > I know Custom Filters are brand new and still in development - however I think they were a big "need this to migrate" feature for a lot of us. I've made the leap now that they're present and gone to a premium account. However, I have a couple thousand emails that I would really like to pass through the newly created filters to clean them up uniformly (and validate the filters). Can you please…

  20. Allow share link (with password option) for an entire folder

Allow the option to send a share link (with appropriate options for password protection, etc) of an entire folder ... not just a single document as is currently available. In the physical security/investigations space, an alternative to dropbox is urgently necessary for sharing files, reports, etc with clients.
