So excited this is implemented! Is there a way to get it to be a longer time period? I also like the scheduled send idea someone mentioned. I'd set a 3-5 minute delay on most of my emails, if not 8+ hours or 2-3 delay for late night and weekend emails. Cheers!

This is actually 2 options - delayed send is available now for up to 20 second delay (Undo send, in General settings) if I'm not mistaken. Scheduled send, OTOH, would be a great feature to add as well - either create a draft that autosends at a date and time of your choosing, or even more generally, daily or weekly at a set time etc...

This is the #1 reason I hesitated to pay for proton mail. I paid for it anyway and now I'm starting to regret my decision. I need to schedule send emails for my business. I work late and don't want to be bothering my clients in the middle of the night. Please update this ASAP. I will probably cancel my subscription next year if this does not change. Please explain why this is so hard.

This is a highly desirable feature, especially when combined with the security proton mail provides. I would feel much better sending secret information in the event that I die through a feature like this than through gmail. (i.e. schedule a mail with an encrypted password phrase to be sent one year from now to another protonmail user, and periodically delay it as long as I'm living)

This is a *critical* need for my business, and it's frustrating that schedules and crons are not a priority roadmap feature. I work incredibly late hours and have to communicate updates to my customers who work regular business hours. I would prefer they do not receive email notifications outside of their normal schedule. Currently, I have no way of doing this through my ProtonMail Professional account. I am in an uncomfortable position where I need consider alternatives to ProtonMail now that I have onboarded a new key client that is sensitive to this.

Beyond traditional use cases for scheduled emailing, there are also cryptocurrency applications. For example, you could securely schedule an encrypted message with wallet recovery information in the event of death/disaster.

How many years need to pass until we get this feature out? It is an essential for communicating through email.

The only problem that I have with proton mail is the lack of "schedule send" feature. I am not a paying customer but if this feature becomes available I can easily use proton mail as my main email client and upgrade my account.

Hello. Scheduled emails are critical to people like me who are night owls! I can't be seen as working until one am by my clients, they will think that I'm a psychopath. I much prefer to schedule all of my emails to be released at 7 am. PLEASE set this up! I'm a paying customer, using premium features. Thank you.

I agree with the other comments. Please include a feature that allows us to schedule sending emails at specific times/dates. In general, it would be great to see more business-friendly emails features. For instance, Inbox Pause, so that we can clear out existing emails without having more pile on top distracting us from getting the existing batch cleared out.

Include time zone and different times for different reciepents on same email - this way it will be a much stronger feature than what is found in services such as gmail.

A schedule send is a great feature as you can target times when you know clients are checking mail. Also brilliant when you are working weekends or late at night and don't want to be buzzing client's phones at crazy times. Gmail provides this and it's a feature I didn't think about until I didn't have it...
