Disconnect VPN for timed period
My default is to leave ProtonVPN connected. If I disconnect it, its usually for a specific task, like trying to resolve zoom glitches, accessing a site that isn't available with the VPN on, or trying to speed up a large file download. 99% of the time I do not remember to turn ProtonVPN back on after the task is complete, and I discover its off 1/2 - 1 week later. I would love the ability to turn off ProtonVPN for a set time period: 1/6/12/24 hours etc and then have it resume the fastest connection possible.

I also thought it didn't make sense before. I was an heavy PIA VPN user and it had the function which in the end I ended using the feature a lot.
Example using hagglezon site which blocks VPNs I would snooze for a while and rest assured that the VPN would turn on again in a minute or two if I ever forgot to turn it back on again.
Rustdesk sometimes also has problems with VPNs but only during the "find" your server proccess, after the connection is established you no longer need the VPN off.
So the snooze button would do 2 good things in my opinion:
- Allow you to easily turn off the VPN for a bit of time for services that block them
- Reduce human error (e.g. people forgetting to turn it back on after disabling it) -

This doesn't make sense, since you would hardly ever fall into a pre-selected snooze period with your surfing, risking surfing without protection and you can already disconnect and quick connect with 2 clicks on the system tray icon.
You can easily disconnect before doing whatever it is that you want to do and then reconnect right after. I suggest trying to connect to a different server as well, sometimes that helps as well. What could be helpful would be a reminder that you are surfing without protection that is more prominent than just the tray icon. So people are reminded to turn protection back on, after having turned it off. This could be linked to changes in traffic (not payload data) as well, so it corresponds to a person being done with something that caused them to turn off the VPN.

Some websites block the usage of VPNs it would be great if we could snooze the VPN for a few minutes without having to disconnect and then reconnect manually.
Would be extra good if it could be done with a right click on the taskbar or system tray icon.
