Apple TV app
Buried in Apple's tvOS 17 announcement is support for 3rd party VPN apps on tvOS. It would be amazing if Proton VPN had a tvOS app.

Invizbox pre-configured for ProtonVPN does exactly this. It has up to 4 preselected VPN servers, so you can switch countries easily. Came across this product in one of Proton how-to sections, so I assume it is safe (or am I being naive?). Have been using it for the last six months, is 100% reliable.

We use Apple TV for virtually all videos from a variety of sources such as Amazon Prime, Plex, Tubi, DW, NHK, France24, youtube, etc.
We always use Proton VPN (P-VPN) on our other Apple equipment: iPhones, iPads, Macs, etc
Would like to stay safe with P-VPN during all viewing.
Can you consider incorporating this as a feature in a upcoming release? We have found directions to alter the DNS in the Apple TV but they don't seem to work and we don't trust anybody on youtube.
We would not use a "flashed router" that claims to have P-VPN.
Thank you for your consideration.
(If this feature already exists please direct us to the installation instructions.) -

When my laptop is connected to Invizbox 2 via the US, I can play Netflix, Hulu, and HBO videos in the US without problems. When I try to do the same with my AppleTV, it does not work. Enabling this feature would be great and I think more people would adopt ProtonVPN and Invizbox.
