Notification if not connected
User sets the time to get notified if they're disconnected for longer than x period.
For users on iOS/android who may temporarily switch off the VPN and forget to toggle it back on, it would be great to have a notification based on a users preference (if not connected for x minutes, notify the user to say they're not connected)

I see that a feature to have the VPN automatically reconnect if it for whatever non-user reason disconnects has been rejected.
I'd like to at least be able to receive a notification, e.g. to the email address associated with my Proton VPN account, that the connection has been disconnected.
This is very much a QoL feature for those of us having a VPN connection on a computer/server we don't interact with or monitor daily. At least this way I will be able to manually reconnect the VPN, even if I'm not home.
Using the kill switch is likely not an option, as I'm also using split tunneling and don't want the entire PC to be disconnected from the internet if the VPN connection drops.
