User Interface Refresh for Fire TV/Android TV + inclusion of profiles
A major overhaul/refresh of the Fire/Android TV apps to bring in some cohesion with Apple TV, Windows and phone apps.
Also to include profile options like Fastest Location (excluding my country) for the TV apps. If not profiles, at least the Fastest Location (ex.) option.

A refreshed Android TV and Fire TV interface would make a big difference, especially if it matches the experience users already get on desktop and mobile. Profile support would also be useful, since TV-based apps benefit a lot from simpler navigation and saved preferences. I’ve noticed the same usability focus with platforms like https://iinattv.com.tr/, where TV and Android users need quick access without unnecessary steps.

Hi, I agree with you: the Fire TV/Android TV interface is by far the ugliest one. I think that also bringing the counter of the generated traffic, the connection time, the up/down speed... so all the other infos visible in the other apps would be great.
In conclusion a much more consistency among all the user interfaces would be very appreciated. -

Hi,
A refreshed UI and proper profile support would make a big difference on Fire TV and Android TV, especially for households where people watch very different content. I help my parents stream Lithuanian channels for news and cultural shows, while my kids prefer cartoons, so separate profiles would keep recommendations and watch history clean for everyone. Simpler navigation and clearer categories would also be great for older users. For niche platforms like Emigrantas TV, this kind of update could really improve daily usability: https://emigrantastv.com/
