Suggestions based on previous events
When creating a new event, I would like to have suggestions based on previous created events. That should include Title, Colour, Notifications and all the other things you can add to the event.
I currently use the Samsung Calendar application (where this feature already exists) and maybe I will move to the Proton one if they implement this. It's such convenient.

Default notification option for Android / iOS mobile apps
I would like to set default notifications for each calendar in the mobile app (already exists in web application).

Clone event between calendars
When I set private event (i.e. doctors appointment) in private calendar A, I would find very helpful an optional checkbox that copies just the time frame of that event to calendar B, public or private.
Weather to copy the details could be a checkbox option as well.1 vote -
Open event location on mapping site/app (google, apple, open street maps)
Currently, the location icon and address data in a Proton Calendar appt. does nothing. It would be nice if clicking on it would open a map program such as Google Maps to get directions to appt.

Fantastical input method
Give us the capability to input data like in the fantastical Calendar app: haircut, 16 december at 16:25 it creates an event on 16 december 2023 at the correct time( with a custom duration) . Just try Fantastical once. Like we are talking with an assistant.

Time Zone Conversion
It would be nice if on the left side were it lists the hours of the day if you were able to add more than one time zone and customize the font color for each. Business is often done in many different time zones and it would be convenient to have a conversion available in the calendar.

Different notification tone for calendar
I'm not sure if this is just an Android thing, but I can't change the notification tone for the Calendar. It's the same as my text message alert.
Is there something that can be done to add an option to change the notification tone?
Even better would be to have a different tone for each calendar, so I knew which calendar was pinging me. Because when they're all the same tone I just tune them out. Stuff that's critically important could have a very distinctive tone, that way I make sure I always check them straight away.

Please make available an embedded link so that I can put my Online and In-person Class Schedule on my website. At the moment I'm using Google for this and would like to use Proton.

Ability to Mark event as cancelled, postponed, did not take place
I wish to have the option to indicate a calendar event with statuses such as:
"Cancelled"
"Postponed"
"Did not take place"
or similar. This is intended to keep the event logged in the calendar (as it's not deleted) with a corresponding label. Furthermore, the event should be categorised as a "past" event, ensuring that no notifications or concerns arise on the scheduled day.
A "postponed" event could also be linked to a future event to indicate it was postponed to XYZ. There, it would be easier to automatically clone the main event to date XYZ+3 giving the user to chance…9 votes -
Weekday name visible in event (website only)
I'd like to have the weekday name visible in an event in the web interface, just as in the application, e.g. Tuesday, Nov 28, 2023, instead of simply Nov 28, 2023.

Add sub-calendars or Create a tagging for events
Take a look at TeamUp (www.teamup.com) for how they have calendars with sub-calendars.
Would be nice to have a tagging or sub-calendars function in the calendar for superior, fine tuned organization.
For instance, I can create a single/master calendar "Family" and then tags/sub-calendars "kid 1", "kid 2", "kid 3", "wife", etc.
Then events will be "family:kid 1", etc. and can be search isolated by tag/sub-calendar
When sharing the master calendar, it would include all events of its related tags or sub-calendars. This will simplify calendar sharing (instead of sharing 5 separate calendars, only have to share 1). But…

Enhanced import and export
Add Calendar support to:
1. import events and whole calendar using ics and cvs as two examples either in clear text or encrypted.

Adjust order of calenders
A way to adjust the order of the different calenders how the appear in Proton Calender, like folders and labels in Proton mail. Or order calenders automatically via numerical/alphabetical order, like in Google calender.

Navigation option to specific years and months
Please ensure a field for entering specific dates/months/years to be searched for! This is a necessary option of a worthwhile Calendar. Have you tried looking at your 2010 calendar entries yet?

Delete outdated calendar entries
I want to make a calendar that will delete its contents after X time has passed from the date planned.
I think that this will reduce the load on Proton's servers and be in line with the right to be forgotten.
