It would be really great if you could integrate this feature so that I can remember to send all my contacts a congratulatory email.

Since this and Apple Watch functionality is missing in Proton Calendar, I still use Apple Calendar (just for this though).

I switched from Apple and that’s the most missing feature at the moment because I miss friends birthday now

Not sure if this is the right place... when adding a birthday in Proton contacts on mobile, it is challenging to scroll back to get the right year. My father is 85 - I would have to scroll back over 1,000 months.

Having switched from another calendar, I would like to see this feature in Proton Calendar. It is very important to me.

This needs to be added so that Proton can keep up with their market competition.

I wonder if this will ever come, or if they just focus on adding more stuff instead of adding basic features to the already existing products

Coming from FastMail, which has an option to display birthdays on the calendar (including AGE if you put a year in the birthday), is a huge drop in functionality.

I’ve been a paid customer of Proton’s business plan since 2018. Over the past two years, it’s become increasingly evident that Proton is indifferent to customer requests and simply acts according to its own whims. I’ve meticulously reviewed all the customer requests posted on this forum, yet their wishes are consistently ignored. It’s disheartening to witness this, especially considering that the customers are all eager to see Proton succeed in its endeavors.

The missing integration of Contacts is really prohibiting a switch. Not only the birthdays, but I just read that they are not synced to your iPhone address book (voted for it)... make better integrations for contacts!

Its been 5 years since this post. How come Proton doesn't feature this basic calendar feature yet? I've missed birthdays since switching over because I initially wasn't aware that they were missing.

This is simply a basic function. Missing it means that youi can't move 100% from Google... :(

Yes please, add this - I still have contacts in Google for this, but you can't generate a link to then "subscribe" to the Google birthday calendar, so no way to keep it live. And also...well I guess I'd like to remove my contacts from Google one day, since the key reason to go to Proton is privacy

It seemed so close back then - and now it's not even on the roadmap for next year anymore.

Proton calendar is literally unusable for me without this feature.
