Event date before 1970
I've been trying to create a birthday event for family born before 1970 so that I can accurately track their age... sounds silly, but I can't seem to create an event starting before the year 1970.

I cannot believe this is still not implemented... Losing my faith in Proton.
My use case is exactly the same. -

Are Proton aware of this one, does anyone know?

This one get's my vote a as well. I just tried to enter the birthday of my grandpa but I couldn't because of this limitation.

YES! I need this for the same reasons: birth, marriage, death, divorce, -- all of these types of events have been occurring for millennia. Online calendars are for tracking this. Proton Calendar needs to get with it.

It's not silly at all. I'd like to do the same. (I believe this limitation has something to do with the unix epoch.)
Also, to complement this it would be nice to be able to see the first date of a repeating event when viewing it, not just the date of the event being viewed.
