Widget Monthly View
Currently an added benefit on that I see to the Google Calendar widget and Samsung Calendar, compared to the Proton Calendar, is an array of widget display options.
Currently, Proton Calendar only allows for an agenda-style view, which just lists in sequence what is going on. But it would be helpful to see your month at a glance without actually having to click into the app. Or, like the Samsung App, it gives you a month view and an agenda view side by side.
Giving users the ability to pick a style fits their use case will improve the number of users leveraging the widget, instead of only having a single option (take it or leave it) style.

I would absolutely love to see this feature added. The current agenda view on the widget is the only thing keeping me from fully transitioning to Proton's calendar.

THIS. The "next event" view is atrocious for me, since I don't have "daily events" like an office administrator or something. But I would LOVE for Proton Calendar to work like Samsung Calendar. You see the full 28/29/30/31 days of the month, and you click on ONE, it opens to see events that day and then you can create one.
I don't understand how this "feature" wasn't there from the beginning. Different calendar views (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) seems like such a basic thing to think of.

This. I cannot work with this agenda view, because it feels so random in what it shows. I don't get all the info I need in one glance.

I love being able to see my entire month with the names of my events in one place. Then if I need to dig deeper into the event details I just click on the day. I really hope to see this in the future.
