I have the issue that the Proton Calendar app will force me to install android app updates in the least convenient situations and blocks further usage without prior notice.

I've deactivated automatic updates in my PlayStore and on some devices, I prefer not to have PlayStore installed at all, for privacy reasons.

As a company focused on customer privacy, Proton should respect this aspect and give a notice to users, i.e "this app needs to be updated in the next 7 days if you'd like to continue using it" just like Whatsapp does.
