Task/ To-Do List

I too am avoiding Google when I can. Impossible it appears.
I need a to do list not for teams. Single user, can sync between phone and computer. Normal repeat times but also oddball days like every third or fourth day, any random day we choose. Have tried many, all fail in some way. Definitely negative on team versions as that clutters, complicates.

For me this ToDo functionality is obvious when I think about calendar app.
Please connect todo func. with calendar and add to reminder options to choose a specific date.

That be great!

This would be really great. Second all the comments on reminders.
If it could integrate with protonmail and proton calendar so that some of the useful features of (ughhh) outlook like right-click drag & drop email to create a task or a calendar appointment from the email that would be amazing!

I hate anything and everything google, but I truly miss the Tasks sidebar on gmail. Please consider this option ProtonMail?

make sure the mobile app supports them too, no value in just having it web based, also consider the Bridge clients, my tasks are in Thunderbird, so I have a separate email provider JUST FOR TASKS !

For the "projects with multiple todo items" I suggest to use Joplin, you can use it localy or with any cloud providers (since you can encrypt your notes).
For the reminders it would be a great idea for the calendar (when we'll have real notifications). -

Wow....I just finished searching in my calendar for a to-do list. That would be awesome. I'll hold out and continue to writing them down on paper. Do not want to go back to gmail. Thanks guys.

Basically just implementing CalDAV standard for handling tasks inside Protonmail,or managing contacts, would be great. Additionally this could be added through Protonmail Birdge if necessary though of course this could be of great value to have supported by default through the Protonmail app

I would live to stop using Microsoft Outlook in full and move my business domain to ProtonMail. To achieve this I would like to have the following features:
- Tasks with Start and Due Date/Time
- Starred email to automatically become as Tasks with option to set Due Date.
- Starred Emails and Tasks to automatically show in the Calendar View
- Ability to Print Calendar with Tasks in "Tri-fold Style" layout, like you have in Outlook -

I second this, I don’t want to use Apple reminders, I want a secure and private To Do list.

Would like to have this integrated to be able to manage tasks and sub-tasks please.

Like "Reminders" in Google Calendar. They have a date/time, but will be persistent until you've check them as "Done" or "Skip", very useful feature.

Would it be possible to add a Task List to ProtonCalendar?

Will you be adding tasks to the calendar? Tasks need to be reflected differently in a calendar than an Event.

It should be easy after the calender

I have used a todo app for decades.
My todo list includes simple tasks, repeating reminders, projects with multiple todo items, etc.
I keep my todo list on my iPhone. I have no need or desire to share it with my other devices or with other people.
For several years I have been using TODO by Appigo. However, a year or two ago they FORCED me to "upgrade" to their cloud-based version. So now, all my todo's are in the cloud instead of on my private device.
So I started looking for a new app. These days however, every single todo app keeps your data in the cloud, including even the "reminders" app that comes with iPhone.
So if my data MUST be in the cloud, it would nice if I trusted the domain that hosted it.
So I am suggesting that you create a TODO app.
