Proton Antivirus
An antivirus service could be a great addition for the ProtonMail community and many others in coming years. It could go as an extension with the VPN service and/or Mail.

I totally agree with this comment. And that's exactly what I wanted to write. As I always use an online translator, I just past it:
Have you ever considered developing an antivirus? After searching through multiple services, I've found that even the most reputable ones almost always sell your data. I'm so tired of searching for an antivirus that doesn't do this. I would like to use a service that has the same kind of data integrity that Proton is founded on. Proton is so well-developed I believe it's something they could do. Something to consider?
I am particularly happy to have found a company that does not sell our data, it is detestable -

Please build an entire security center dedicated to protecting users while remaining focused on privacy. The current choices are terrible products...McAfee, Norton, Kaspersky, Avast and so on.

A separate app to use to scan my iPhone, not just my ProtonMail app.

Greetings. Not so much a new feature, but if Proton could come up with centralized virus protection, I could dispense the Bitdefender(not that it's bad) and keep my business under one roof. Otherwise, I'm a fan.

I would happily pay for antivirus/firewall software that I could trust to respect my privacy.

I also would love to have a Protonmail antivurus even if it was a paid feature.

Almost without question whichever virus software or firewall I use I am nervous of the country of origin interfering in its running. ProtonMail has built a reputation that is above such interference. Although this additional service maybe available / in consideration I would certainly support its introduction.

anti virus is designed to fail and will be that way until they are forced to changed.

I'm reposting this here, as the two other search results are in the "New features" and "Features seen on other services" sections.
I'm thinking about this since Avast forced its own certificate on my Twitter and Facebook tabs, and it's hard for me to trust a free antivirus, especially with so much dark patterns.
I'd really love to see a ProtonMail antivirus with a free tier that anyone could blindly trust, and it would make ProtonMail the new big deal for the representative Windows/macOS user.
This would also be great for the open-source community, since ProtonMail always invested funds for supporting the Linux ecosystem (by developing the protonvpn-cli or by porting the ProtonMail Bridge to Linux).
We could consider various services, up to a Comodo-like firewall for Windows, macOS, and Linux computers. I'd definitely pay a reasonable yearly amount for this.
Thanks to the ProtonMail team and to the ProtonMail community, developing and funding a free email and VPN service!

A software for antivirus, cleaning, maintaining, and monitoring macOS/Windows, something like MacPaws CleanMyMac3, but very privacy oriented, unlike MacPaw, which states in its Privacy Policy it collects information about its users location, among other things, and also shares information with government organizations.

gee, wiz I am unsure what to think, I love the idea, but here is something better, use HerdProtect, they use over 60 Engines, which would be nice, if they bought that and kept it going, yes their needs to be better antivirus scanners they suck. in my thought I could make a better one that is better out here, just by adding certain features.
