Finance manager
Is there data more sensitive than finance data? I'd really like to have a Proton Finance app like KMymoney, Skrooge, etc. which can be accessed from web UI, mobile or desktop app.
There are very few alternatives that provide multi-platform support and one needs to trust their privacy and security, which are your best characteristics.

Great suggestion—finance data is arguably even more sensitive than email, so a privacy-first, cross-platform finance manager within Proton would fit perfectly with their core philosophy. Having seamless access across web, desktop, and mobile while maintaining strong encryption would be a huge value add, especially for users already in the ecosystem. Also, from a productivity standpoint, tools that help track time vs. earnings can complement financial management decisions; I’ve been exploring something similar here: https://stundenlohnrechnerr.de/. Overall, this idea aligns really well with Proton’s direction and user expectations.

For anyone looking to manage finances more accurately, professional bookkeeping plays a key role alongside any finance manager tool. Clean records, reconciled accounts, and organized reports make financial data easier to analyze and secure.

Agreed! I really would love this! This would fit perfectly a company focussed on protecting one’s privacy. Perhaps make it possible to connect it to your bank account and manage your finances and transactions to keep track of all your expenses and bills.

I think just the same. We need our finances to be private. What better than an app that helps us do this?
There are very good proprietary applications such as MoneyWiz or Wallet from budgetbakers. But there are undoubtedly open source apps and many self-hosted ones that are very good, since they are private and have bank synchronization through the free Gocardless API, such as Firefly III, Actual, Paisa, Fingrom or Cashew. It also has the Cozy app, although I haven't tried it.
Relying on these open source projects to create a beautiful financial app, with good graphics for expenses and budgets, with bank synchronization and with support for attaching PDFs, would be a goal for privacy. Since we have a BTC wallet, why not have it all?
P.S. Sorry if it is not understood well, since I write through a translator.

This would be so nice, I don't trust apps like Buxfer, Mobills and co not really anymore.
With Proton now having an Bitcoin wallet, it's transaction history could also be integrated nicely.
