I would love to be able to select documents/files from proton drive when using the proton mail web client. As of now, I have to go to proton drive to download the file, attach it through proton mail web interface, send the email, and then delete the downloaded file.

Just like Gmail has an option to attach file directly from Google drive, can we also have a similar option? It helps if we are using a friend's computer or a work computer where either we don't want to or not allowed to open and/or download files from personal cloud storage. Can you please consider this?

Once this feature is added, I would also like the ability to create a filter which will match certain attributes (like sender, recipient, subject, ...) and then save any/all attachments to a designated folder in my ProtonDrive.

For instance, if i send a PDF to PDF@my-proton-addr, it will automatically save to the PDF folder.

If I send a receipt PDF to receipts@my-proton-addr, it will automatically file any attachments to the receipts folder, perhaps to a dynamically created sub-folder, named with the current date. The file names for the attachments will have to be guaranteed to be unique, so I might want to prefix the file name with a timestamp, say. Or perhaps the subject might be used in creating the filename.

Yeah, that a great idea. I always use google drive in email attachments for that purpose whenever i had to send some thing to my user from my website. And if its paid please add my this website in list https://realapkclub.com/ and i'll pay for it.

With Protondrive now part of the Proton universe I would prefer the option to select when saving an attachment from Protonmail to either directly choose a folder inside Protondrive, or to save externally to the hard drive.

adding an attachment of 25MB+ to an email should offer the ability to upload this file to a temp folder in ProtonDrive and automatically create a download link to insert into the mail.
This would simplify the process of sending big files directly in ProtonMail, without having to go to ProtonDrive first.

Yes! It's great having encrypted storage but it really needs to be convenient to use. Being able to save protonmail attachments to my proton drive should be a basic function.

when I click to download a file attached to an email I want to have the option to download to my associated protondrive. I currently have to download to a local location then manually upload to protondrive.
