Configure spellchecker language in desktop app
In a browser, Proton Mail benefits from the browser functions to spell check. In the new Proton Mail installed application, the language cannot be configured or I do not know how to do it...
It would be very useful to be able to configure the spell checker language for people that are writing in a language that is different than the OS language used.
Thank You

It's a very interesting feature; not everyone writes English in the world. Just like this website https://themagistv.co

I am going to find a mail client that doesn't put a red line under everything I write in Icelandic. It's very annoying.

I can only agree. It is a pain in the... that everything I write in German is marked as spelling mistakes by the proton mail desktop app, since my proton account is set to English.
I'd love this feature to be included soon!

I write in English, French, German and sometimes Italian.
With the web app, it's possible to switch languages once configured in the browser.
With the desktop app, I first have to write my text in LibreOffice, copy/paste in a text editor to erase the formatting and then copy/paste in the desktop app.

Yes, it would take a lot of pain away having a decent spell check consistently working in the clients.

This is a very important feature, the world is not always writing in English and a Swiss-based company should know it very well...

I would love to see this feature added to the desktop app.
When I compose an email in a different language, almost every word has a red line underneath. -
