Proton Docs - Paragraph Line Spacing
Please adding paragraph line spacing. I generally like to list out things using new lines rather than a list function. The current spacing between new lines is about 2-3 times bigger than I'm willing to tolerate.

I'm a writer and small business owner, and I'd like to move hundreds of documents out of google drive and migrate over to Proton drive to protect my data. As many others have said here, the lack of clarity and control around spacing, margins, and formatting in Proton Docs raises significant barriers. I was set to begin migrating documents in September but seeing that this request has been in place for so long, I will have to keep researching better platforms.

I am migrating a long document from Google Docs, and the double-spacing minimum just won't work for readability. I can't see Proton Docs yet as viable. Alpha?

Not being able to control line spacing is preventing me from migrating from G-docs. Single spacing is used a lot in my notes. Thanks.

Yes! This please. An option for line and paragraph spacing in Proton Docs is crucial. And seeing the actual edges of a Proton Doc. As it currently stands, I have no idea how large the margins are or how many pages the Doc is. How is one supposed to compose a letter or resume this way? This is one of the many reasons I haven't been able to make the full jump from Google Drive yet.

Please add the ability to control line spacing within and between paragraphs. This is the main thing keeping me from migrating from Google Docs.

I can't use Proton Mail professionally, without coherent spacing between paragraphs. All forwarded emails from Outlook, for instance, make no sense with the lines and embedded images all over the place. Readers don't know what goes with which line or heading.

This is a critical feature for me as well. Without being able to set things such as line spacing in a document, it loses the professional formatting quality I need my docs to have.

Please add a way to specify wanted line spacing, e.g. 1, 1.15, 1.5 etc. Also, why is there a bigger gap between lines when hitting the Enter button?

I use single line spacing in all my emails/documents & this is critical for me too.
Docs is great for quick notes but needs more parity to ms docs/only office.
We'll be patient as this is rolled out!

I agree with WH comment, I'd like to migrate off Google drive, but I need a few more edit features. Line spacing is an important one. Format painter would be another.

Proton Drive-App for iPhone - Writing in Docs: I would like to create only a line break, not a new paragraph, when I press Shift-Enter, just like I can do it on my iPad.
It decide, like Problem before ne wrote: enter = line break
so I can do a new paragraph visually with two line breaks… that would be much better for me -

I would love to migrate from Google Docs to Proton Docs, but line spacing is absolutely essential! Please add this feature. Thanks.

Proton Docs is only a notepad without basic document capabilities like line spacing controls.

Proton Docs has no global or bulk control over line spacing or paragraph spacing.
This is not a niche feature. This is baseline document functionality.
Without it, documents quickly become visually inconsistent and cannot be formatted to a professional standard. Mixing normal paragraphs and bullet points makes spacing unpredictable and impossible to clean up.
Shipping a document editor without basic spacing controls suggests that presentation was not considered at all, which is negligent for a tool explicitly intended for document creation and sharing.
This should not need to be requested

I asked Proton's AI, Lumo, and it said there is a lne-spacing control on right of the toolbar. I said there isn't, to which it replied: go to "settings" in the docs editor and set "editor preferences" to "advanced" or something, but there is no such menu. Conclusions. 1. Line spacing setting has still not been implemented. 2. Lumo can tell lies and waste your time just like any other AI chatbot.
