I'm confused why there is this disconnect in the first place - photos should be recognized in an assigned area of DRIVE - not be separate entities depending on whether they were included based on "photos" or "files" syncing with a device.

I have literally thousands of photos that are on a PC, that I'd like to have on DRIVE. There is currently no way to get them there except for manually putting them on a device, and then syncing that device. But when we are dealing with TBs worth of photos, this is truly not a feasible option as I'd have to clear the device completely a ridiculous amount of times in order to do small batches.

In a nutshell "photos" needs to be part of DRIVE not an entirely separate entity within it.

This is really important, because when you're backing up photos from a device and there's thousands of them they're all completely uncategorized. Adding them to an album is the only way to organize them, but again how do you tell you've organized them when you've got thousands of photos that are seemingly unlabelled in any meaningful way.

The family plan is definitely pricey to the average person, and needs more flexibility in terms of users. I won't upgrade - despite need - due to the cost when I consider our family size. Families come in all different sizes and there's absolutely no question we need to be able to customize this. A fixed size, yes that includes the Duo plan for couples, doesn't offer enough flexibility.

I would however hate to see storage decreased in any way. When you're looking at using more than simply email you can run through that space very quickly - especially when you consider the ability to backup your phone's photos to Drive. I take around 5000 high quality photos a year and am thrilled to have a private place to back them up!

As mentioned in the previous update on this feature, it is now being edited to be a request for slides.

Please feel free to undo your vote if this is not something you want included in Proton Drive.

There are many basic features missing from Proton Docs in order to make it functional, so that people can create professional looking documents. Failing these basic features it's effectively just another Notepad. We don't need yet another one of those! We need an online collaborative document tool that's comparable to programs like Word and Google Docs. With the acquisition of Standard Notes, I'm surprised to see that Proton Docs isn't integrated or functioning more like their Super Notes. Some of the features are partially implemented, but so limited that again you can't create professional looking documents.

Some basic features Proton Docs needs:

    - line spacing
    - styles that can be customized
    - headers and footers
    - ability to specify fonts
    - ability to embed fonts
    - reasonable selection of fonts
    - full selection of colors
    - ability to properly format tables (borders, background, text - including full selection of colors)
    - import documents and retain formatting

Another basic but critical function to creating professional looking documents. Just because I am using different line spacing, doesn't mean I'm creating a list.

Being able to use different and specific fonts is an extremely basic & vital function to creating professional documents. Without the ability to format text it's effectively just another Notepad. Please allow us to choose and embed specific fonts.

There are a phenomenal amount of people requesting different versions of plans, it astonishes me that Proton hasn't clued in and made plans "pick-and-choose" all together. Sure offer some preset plans with commonly purchased things in a bundle. But people's needs can vary, so if you want to get as many subscriptions as possible from as many people as possible they need to let us choose what features we want in our bundles. Tuta does this and for a fraction of the cost. More paying users will help development, but if you can't offer us plans that meet our needs then it's hard to grow.

I think what some people are forgetting is that you can cancel your annual subscription at any time, and get refunded the remainder of unused time - which is like them receiving monthly payments. It does make a huge difference to customers trying to foot huge bills for an annual subscription all at once. Frankly I'd commit to a LONGER period if I could have the payments taken monthly. And I don't care for the idea of buying a "balance", because if something goes awry then I'm out that money all together. All the other services I have annual contracts with take monthly payments on them. Also, for those commenting on different monthly prices remember currency matters. Euros isn't the same for me as it is for someone else.
