    Albums, photo tagging, search by location for Proton Drive Photos.

    Pretty much like Google Photos, but encrypted. Probably without the automatic classification since that would require you to see my photos :D

  9. Share Proton Docs link for collaboration without requiring Proton account

    The new Proton Docs Feature just came out.
    I wanted to use it, but i can't share the document so, that friends can collaborate. They don't all have a proton account.
    That's why the sharing feature with the E-Mails doesn’t help a lot.
    Normally you can just create a link to each document, so that others can edit it.
    But at the moment this isn’t possible.
    It’s a quite standard feature I personally would expect from a drive with documents.

    Unfortunately, after years of using the Unlimited account and various services to the best of my ability, I will be forced to cancel my subscription to Proton due to the lack of a drive client for Debian. I believe it is unthinkable to have such a great and cool ecosystem but not have a drive available for Linux.

  12. Photo Sorting/Organization/Albums

    Currently the photos in proton drive feel only good for backing up. But if I want to pull up a photo and show it to someone it's unusable. There needs to be a way to filter by date or filter by location. There should be a timeline scroll bar on the side. It would be amazing to be able to create albums. If there were a collaboration with open street maps to pull the location data from the photos and map them that would be another great way to search photos.

    I would really like the ability to not only have the offline-available files be accessable from within the Android app, but to also be able to specify a local folder on my device where those files would be located, so I could access them from any other app. Any remote changes are synced to the local files, any local changes are synced to the remote files.     A true, user friendly, encrypted way to create shared photo albums with family and friends, as an alternative to Google and iCloud Photos.

    All people that the album is shared with would be able to add photos to it and every member of the album would receive a push notification that a new photo has been added.

  18. Linux cli app for Drive

    It would be great to have a Linux app (can be CLI, I don't need a GUI) that syncs the drive with local storage. I'm using Dropbox now who have a Linux client, but it's proprietary so I cannot run it on Asahi Linux for instance. Or FreeBSD. Or any other open source OS for that matter. I think a great addition for a lot of your privacy-aware clientele.

  19. To switch from Google Photos, Proton drive is not the deal. We need Proton Photos

    There is already a request like this. But - from the answer it received by administators, I have the feeling they don't have got the point. This is what I think and what I need ;)
    Google Photos offers specific tools to manage and share photos effectivelly. Unfortunatelly Proton Drive app is not up to this task (as it is not OneDrive, for instance).   20. Add Shared Folders to Proton Drive Sync

    My wife and I fully utilize the Proton sharing features across the platform. We share files in Proton Drive, but the biggest gap for us is not being able to sync shared folders/files (using Proton Drive Sync for MacOS). The only way we can access the files that have been shared is through the Proton Drive web application.
