Proton Drive Photo manager improvements
Add a feature to manage in a better way our photo on mobile, like adding a search bar, the ability to create albums, or even more the option to choose if when you delete a photo from the phone to delete it also on drive

I think that a good feature would also be to add an edit feature, to fix some meta data import issues. I've just imported all my photos to Proton and some of the dates have messed up as have locations. It would be useful to be able to edit these inside Proton.

2025-06-26 - The Photo album feature is neat, but has these limitations:
No "sub" albums
Sharing (even read only) requires the recipient to open a free Proton account - Proton drive doesn't have this requirement -

I have Proton Drive app on Android and I want to backup specific folders (camera, videos) but I do not want to backup downloaded files. I did not figure out if I could select folder. It just opened so I could select individual photos and then I figured, "I don't have time for this ****."
If you improve the photo management and sync/backup (on Linux as well) I will switch from my current cloud provider so if you want my money... now is your chance.

I'm happy using Proton Drive but retrieving photos is difficult, only it is possible scrolling by date :-(
i'm concerned seeing the number of photos growing without good search tools.Regards
