The 30 day limit to unlock additional storage and other features is unnecessary and makes a switch from other services unnecessarily difficult as it puts pressure on the consumer to immediately use every part of Proton. Not only that, Proton advertises with free features such as 5GB storage but fails to mention from the get go that you need to unlock them within 30 days or you will never get them. Unless you try out every service right away, you won't know that you will lose a few features if you're not fast enough. I don't know if this is only an issue for neurodevelopmentally disordered people like me but it's incredibly overwhelming and stressful for no reason.
