Unique File Links for each item in Proton Drive (without public sharing)
Generate a unique link to individual files that aren’t publicly accessible.
In Google Drive, right click any file > share > copy link
You get a link to that file which you can add in to my own files, into docs, calendar entries, etc. In this way, I've built out my own system, where I once logged in, I can navigate from calendar to an important contract, or from docs / sheets, to an associated PDF / image, etc.
Include support, so that the linked files open in the relevant app, not kicking the user out of the mobile app to a browser.
On Proton Drive, it seems like I can only create shareable links. Anyone with that link can view the file, no login required. Is there already a way to generate “private” links i.e. just for me. Having secure, per-file links would be a huge plus for sensitive docs without opening them to the world.

Are you guys using Proton Drive on a mobile device? My issue is that I can't create public links from File Explorer in Windows. I have to visit the website to create the link(s). So I don't think the Proton Drive app supports creating these links on either platform.
But unlike your use case, I do want public links. I just don't want to be switching between desktop native app experience (there is none in this regard) to a web browser window, because having this feature where it integrates with the file manager on my system is half the reason for me to even install the Proton Drive app. If I can't have that, like I do with OneDrive or Google Drive, then I might as well uninstall the app and just use the website.
But I think in your case – if you don't mind switching between browser and the app – all you have to do is make sure you don't share these public links anywhere or with anyone, and then they are as good as private. There is no way for someone to find your secret file, unless you share the link with them. Each link is a string of random characters, and there is no way for some to guess it, because that would be as hard as guessing a strong password. And I expect that the security is rock solid so that there is no way for some "threat actor" to enumerate all public links ever created on Proton Drive, because that would be an epic disaster.

This is critical for my notes, calendar events. Since you don't allow for files to be attached to the calendar, at least have private links that get redirected to the proton drive.
I tried this in my android phone, but end up in the browser instead of the proton drive app...
