Proton Authenticator direct backup to Proton Drive
It would be fantastic if the app (mobiles) would backup to the Proton Drive automatically. At the moment it's only possible to save it locally, this is kind of useless...

This would be a great feature request. Proton Authenticator already supports automatic encrypted backups, but the current options depend on the platform: iOS uses iCloud, while Android lets you choose a backup location.
Having Proton Drive as a native backup destination would make a lot of sense, especially for users already invested in the Proton ecosystem. It could automatically create an encrypted backup in a dedicated Proton Drive folder while keeping the same end-to-end encryption model.
I’d definitely prefer that over manually exporting and uploading the backup file each time. https://stickmanhook.com.br/ could also be useful for discovering other privacy-focused tools.

?? If they can access the one they can access the other... You would want an off site location for that concept.
In these forums, click on the different passwords for the different apps if you really want this.

The app provides backup through your Proton account. Is there another reason you need the secret keys in Drive specifically?

You can login to the app with your proton account and it will automatically back it up to your account
