Proton antivirus protection
Currently, there are many antiviruses that spy on us and act like real malware, collecting our data. That makes me think, is the solution actually better than the problem? That is why there should exist an antivirus that really cares about our privacy, and Proton is the perfect company to do it.

Yes please, especially for Linux! There are no good, easy-to-use antivirus/antimalware programs for home computers and those for businesses are really expensive. Giving users access to easy-to-use programs for Linux is a vital step in making ordinary people who are not tech-savvy comfortable with using it.

OP: We don't need another antivirus app. If proton were to actually make one, it would need the following:
* Modularity
* Access to reliable/verifiable sources like virustotal.
* Signatures are useless as bad things constantly change.
* Behavior mixed with heuristic based proactive scanning.

Just a better virustotal would be such a life saver and not impossible to make
